He could do either, throw it back. With some cool twirly animations :P Or he could transport it back magically. Yeah, that would be fun! I would like to do that, i have thought myself about throwing the staff on the ground and have it bounce up into his other hand(Magicstaffs can do that), but i ha...

Am I the only one who thinks these don't look good at all for the purpose? Well, the orc would be fine with a bit more work (and colouring), but the others just look completely out of place. I can see zookeepers point, because they may not "Wesnoth-style". They are really good drawn, but as they ar...

The ogre animation looks good, but his belly doesn't jiggle. That is the one point that my eyes have problems with.

His left lower arm looks strange after the stick has dissapeared, the part hidden by the stick doesn't show up. And the last few frames look odd... don't know how to say that better... Agree . That was because of cutting out the staff too lasily. I just fail to understand why it's enlargened so. It...

my second try

Here is a mage with more magic and a turning head. It is a bit blurry, but that can be seen as "motionblur"

How do you find him?

Re: Silver mage idle animation my first try

That looks good, instead of having the staff suddenly turn into a ball of 'magic.' Have it instead slowly form into that ball, then transfer as normal, and probably, transfer back magically. The blue ball of magic was Darth Fool's idea. I can try to fold or shrink the staff and turn him into a ball...

Silver mage idle animation my first try

Hi ! I am certainly no artist, but i have tried to make Darth Fool's animation a bit better. Had some time to waste. :D Here it is! This was a funny task. I had fun. EDIT: Maybe he should throw the stick back to the right side? This seems to be not quite finished. Your comments are welcome! Greeting...

Re: Problems with campaign?

I just downloaded the latest Eliador campaign from the campaign server. When I try to start it, I get the following error message: no valid cache found. Writing cache to '/home/jesse/.wesnoth/cache/game.cfg-cach e-v1.1.4-CAMPAIGN_ELIADOR-MEDIUM-NORMAL' error config: preprocessor symbol 'MOVE_UNIT' ...

Re: orc-land.ogg

Similar to how we have the piece elf-land.ogg providing some nice happy vocals, would it be possible to write something that features strong-sounding scary male vocals? I hope you can intuit what I'm talking about since I don't know if I can explain it properly. There are some songs where they are ...

Preload of animated icons and sounds

When a campaign is loaded into the memory the sounds an icons should be loaded too. They can be used in the game much faster then. It don't even uses much ram, because many units were used more than once. I have thought about one bigger binary file, which will have all often used sounds in one .ogg ...

Hi Samuelf! I have listened to the new file http://www.samuelf.com/audio/Wesnoth01b.mp3 and find it quite good! I like the darkness in it. As others sugested, i agree with them that this is an underground theme. I am no musican, but i think those randomly playing drums should be playing less often a...
