Re: The Dark Hordes rise from the dead....again
A translator puts up the campaign and doesn't mark it as translateable... interesting. Is the text supposed to be rewritten? Or even worse, automatic uploads could have some problems... Yes, since TDH is only half complete, in my opinionion, there are many changes to expect in those translations. B...

Re: The Dark Hordes rise from the dead....again
It is now on the new (1.4) server. I think i still don't have the time to improve this campaign, so i ask if someone is interested to take it over into his/her hands. Play it, make improvements in the code and then either post those improvements here or ask to take it over completly.

More Cowbell
Not bad, but it needs more cowbell.
The only cure against fever is more cowbell.

Apricot open game (Blender community)
Hi there!
I have just seen, that the team from apricot is searching for an experienced musician, who want's to do their game music and probably the sounds too.
http://apricot.blender.org/?p=59
I am not involved there, just relaying the message here.

This any better? Maybe it is. I don't mind the triangle, but the somewhat more subdued clanging in this new version might be a better fit with the somber character of the piece. Still, I'd wait and see what the people who did see a problem with the old version think! This is no change at all. I wan...

This piece is still endlessly awsome to listen to and i consider it almost finished. It has only an annoying part between 0:44 and 1:22. In this part the triangle and the drum should be either removed completly or replaced with any other instrument, which plays in the background. EDIT: Maybe you cou...

You mean to get them to make a Free sound library for this sort of thing? Yes, like Mark (or someone/something) could pay the salaries and then release the samples under GPL (or compatible). Maybe even talk to some Brazilian[1] government funded orchestra and get a rebate :) /tsr [1] It's my unders...

Re: New music for wesnoth
Hello everyone. I have composed this music in the summer of 2006. I think it can be fit to "under the burning sun" campaign, because of its arabic scales and mediterranian character. Please take a look and let me know your ideas. If you agree to put it under a creative-commons license, yo...

What about your idea of an original language you post here ? no accent/prononciation/translation problem..... Even more difficult for text-to-speech-systems, because they are trained to speak english texts. This was just a bad idea also, to make a completly new language. I won't build it further. Y...

This seems to be a topic, which seems to come up again and again, because it seems so tempting for anybody to try voiceacting. It is no simple job. It is not done with talking a few sentences into a microphone and most of us, don't have a professional studio at home. The idea with text-to-speech is ...
