Cavalry actually hurt Woses quite bad - 40% impact resist, lawful, three strikes, blade, mobile. I can imagine worse units to fight Woses. While the mage may be the obvious counter, the cavalryman does a good job too.

The bandit pop-up bug is fixed, but I have a wholly different issue with this campaign: You get a whopping choice of TWO unit types for the campaign - I played 'till s5: Invaders.. but this starts getting old pretty soon. Yawn. Dwarf fighter, yawn, thunderer, yawn, another fighter, 2, 3, 4, 5.. hopp...

Hm. The tree dies horribly against drakes. Drake Flare as leader, + Burner/Fighter, and the tree's firewood or toast. The tree does a good job against undead. It isn't half bad against Loyalists, who have to bring in a mage to combat it effectively. But against other factions than those two, its use...

482. You see yourself and the surgery team of the hospital you have been working at as sprites, fighting orcs and aliens (also sprites) with scalpels.

Yes, I deleted everything save the saves, and Wesnoth crashes anytime I leave a MP game. I run on Windows XP.
Since 1.3.10, wesnoth has been a single player game for me :(

To be honest, I find the Knalgans' lack of Arcane, Cold and Fire damage, no leadership, no healer, no slowing guy, no mage, no marksman, no poison (except for the lvl3 Assassin), no lvl 1 skirmisher, no lvl3 for many units and apalling defense on grass and forest a little crippling. They'd have to b...

But yes: being able to recruit a level 0 is a great advantage, because they cost no upkeep - if the game stalls, you may build up a weenie horde without impairing your income. Plus, neither the WC with its Fearless trait nor the gobbo with pierce damage are bad.

Well, since the Clasher has received first strike for his speak attacks, he's an excellent roadblock against horsemen, especially since he's not weak to pierce. Likewise, the spearguy has his first strike negated by the Clasher, too. Loyalists are slowed by any terrain whatsoever, so you should be a...

The gryphons really could get a lvl 3 rock-dropping version, or a net-dropping version that slows... given the dwarven penchant for alchemy, they could get a ranged fire attack: dropping a fire bomb.

A Stirring in the Night

:?: I am not actually stuck there, but I wonder - is there a way to save a substantial amount of the villages/tents from falling to the undead? Is it possible at all to save all villages? I am playing UTBS on the middle difficulty, have got a lvl 2 rider, a captain, a hero, a ranger, two lvl 2 sling...
