The xp adjustments should be such that you actually can level up an unit in a classic 1v1 70% xp match. Most units have to kill 2-3 foes there if intelligent, 3-4 if not. Most often, units ...

Oh. I thought he'd have some weak magic already. Thus: "Only though adversity does a man grow." The Brungar have taken this saying to heart, and rarely is it more true than for those who try to master the fickle runes to command the waves. When faced with the terrors of war and reality of combat, th...

Okay, giving the undecided student a try: "Only though adversity does a man grow." The Brungar have taken this saying to heart, and rarely is it more true than for those who try to master the fickle runes to command the waves. When faced with the terrors of war and reality of combat, the grain is se...

I saw it used in one of the coloseums, not the one by Platypus though.
Also, if you need some descriptions or flavor text done, I'm halfway decent at writing.

Re: Era of the Future/Welkin faction Feedback/Balancing
As I've seen it done, the rampaging hero did X damage to all enemies adjacent to the unit it attacked with each successful hit. An alternate way to do the rampage thing might be that the unit activates a special no retaliation melee attack (something like 6-1) against each adjacent foe before the no...

Re: Era of the Future/Welkin faction Feedback/Balancing
Was just thinking about the Ray: why not make it level 1 with according stats, and have it advance into an Aether Ray or Void Ray, a supernatural beast actually holy to the Sea Dwarves? With arcane attacks, perchance. Also, an idea about how to make them workable on land: I once saw a pic with flyin...

Also, they are quite resilient against chain-suicides from walking corpses. (I still shudder at how my Konrad was eaten by them in walley of Death).

Re: Heroic Deeds in TRoW
Well, let me rephrase: for example at Fallen Lich Point, I can just run to the catacombs, and not bother with the orc bosses, though killing them is denoted as "heroic" - but I need only to run to win. Killing the boss would take some three more turns, actually COSTING money. Do I get anything to co...

Heroic Deeds in TRoW
Several levels of this campaign feature alternative objectives - easier ones, and difficult ones marked as Heroic.
Do I actually get something for completing a Heroic objective?

Isle of Dread, HttT
It's my first time in this scenario, and I am not certain how to play it - only 100 gp, no access to leveled troops, and two liches to kill seems tough.
Any hints?
