Re: Elvish Guide

Maybe that's because the majority of most maps' landmass contain land instead of water?

Multiplayer Campaigns

Can anyone suggest me some good MP campaigns / RPG scenarios?

I have played Unnatural Winter and Valley of the Ancients before. Was looking for Elf War (no idea where it went, but it's not in the add-ons now).

Does anyone know any other good ones?

Re: Wesball

This is waaaay better than Wesbowl :) I find that picking units available to a specific faction works well as it is. If you can pick a unit from every race, then we would find mirror matches involving 'ultimate' units which would be boring and stale. As mentioned before, the stoned penalty for killi...

Re: 3p Rivalry - by Golbeeze and A_Guy

This is an interesting mod, as this is the first time that anyone can buy creeps vs opponent in a 2v2 SX style (if you don't count DotG, that is). I played this several times, all with default era, use map settings. However, the game is somewhat easy, with just 3 lvl 2 AI creeps at turn 22. All 4 pl...

Re: Tournament of Champions 4 Results Thread EDIT: *ROUND TWO*

Here's the first replay. If my memory serves me right, I had about -30% inflicted and +25% taken overall, from turn 4-8. I have also never played this map before. Having so much bad luck in the decisive part of the game ended it swiftly in favour of Pagan. In Sullas, it was more interesting as neith...

Re: Idea: Loyalists can actually recruit sergants and villagers

Let's see... A normal peasant has 6-2 attack. Led by a lieutenant, he'd deal 8-2 at dawn/dusk, or a decent 10-2 at day. Nearly as powerful as a spearman, but just 1/2 the cost. Now, one lieutenant is bad enough...having TWO would be devastating, especially if one leads the main army. Besides, I don'...

Re: Heir to the Throne WAS: Siege of Elsenfar

Northern Rebirth is a pretty interesting campaign...else how would it find its way into the mainline campaigns?

However, at hard, it is REALLY HARD, so I wouldn't suggest that you play it unless you like a serious challenge from the AI :)

Re: Defense of the Goblin II - A new version, a new world!

spells are very overpowered--- for 4 g u can get 2dmg.. if you have around 200g then u can get lots of dmg and spells +saurian skirmisher+ dmg spell= BAAANG I beg to differ. A few days ago, I tried out the spell strat. I played a 2v2 vs Sonic. My team consisted of saurian skirmisher + mage and the ...

Re: Tournament of Champions 4

TOMATO: we have already several players in the reserve list such as Mabuse, 3vil, etc...but then, don't ask me, ask Noy about it.

So far, only 6 out of 12 pairs have reported their match-ups, my pair excluded. What would happen if by the end of this Friday there are still unplayed match-ups?

Re: Tournament of Champions 4

I meant the anti-spam WC rule. I found it though. Are there any other rules concerning playing strategies apart from the WC one?
