Maybe a good feature would be to make it so in a multiplayer game (basically any game where network players are involved), your turn ends automatically if there are no moves you can possibly make. You mean like the dwarves? Also, you would strip the Lich of drain to add Plague? Makes more sense to me than drain for the lich... The lich is suppose to be the range damage dealer branch of Undead mages... The thing to note is that the Lich does less damage than Human's damage dealing mage path b...

Curse (side effect of an attack, like poison and slow) -when a cursed unit dies it becomes a WC -curse can be "healed" or removed in villages I like this idea... Curse - should be a spell givin to necromancer... would be better ability than the plague staff... more useful any ways for a lvl 3 unit ...

haven't really downloaded the source or messed with xml files... but was curious since i saw this here (and huge fan of old http://necrobones.com/atrobots/ asm robot programming ai ) how is ai currently implemented? script language or hard coded in engine in cpp?

Not sure if this crash has been fixed in cvs version or been reported. I saw the crash report on changing prefrences during game but haven't seen any other that would be closly related.. The way Wesnoth represents that zombies are used in swarms is the fact they they are so cheap to recruit. Not only this, but when they defeat an opponent it becomes another living dead to join their ranks. I think this is sufficient. True they are cheap but they are weaker than say a lvl 0 goblin.....

Doesn't seem feasible. There are incredibly few instances where the terrain would permit a unit as slow as the walking corpse to effectively cluster together into formations. Yes it is true that with such low movment it would be hard to cluster them like so...which slows down thier movement more, b...

I was thinking about orc slayers ...... I am not here to say they are overly powerful or weak just to suggest something I was thinking. The idea was to lower slayer damge to 10-2 Wouldn't something more on the lines of 5-3 be more fitting with daggers? Daggers ya would think swing faster but do less...
