Re: The User Art Topic

Had to redo the whole thing.
This actually makes me feel a bit awkward since I could be doing something far more useful to Wesnoth. :?

Re: The User Art Topic

Something I've been working on. I've got to fix a plenty of things before this starts looking right.

Re: Help needed defining team rgb values for unit graphics

It took me all in all 4 hours to make this. :annoyed:
But I'm slow in pretty much anything I do, so I guess it's nothing special.

Re: any copyright problem with this ?

Unless you're going to copy Blizzard's art, sound effects or code, you're clean.

Blizzard hasn't copyrighted the concept of a gargoyle.

Very good. You have my go.

Should I tackle some part of the animating for this or...?

Re: Anvil

Here's an anvil that might just make it to be mainline quality.

Yes. I have no idea why so many finns dabble in art here. I joined because the community was awesome and I wanted to try out spriting after playing many retro games.

Re: Terrain: orc stuff

I'd like to see some loose stones/rubble around them. Otherwise they look very very good. Great job! :)

Re: Outlaws!

I LOVE the hair. :) The knife he's holding just needs a bit more detail. Thespaceinvader's links have magnificent material for that. where is that guy from?! He's Hugo from Street Fighter 3rd Strike. He's not exactly a dextrous thief though. :D His hair and face are just astonishingly similar to you...

Re: Outlaws!

Somehow the male thief reminds me of this character. :P

But that aside, in my opinion the hair, the face and what he's wearing is all good as they are. Change very little, or nothing, if possible.

Re: It is gone again Art Topic

I fell ill. Got plenty of fever...
After a trance of 9 hours or so, I woke up with the drawing tablet on my lap and this person looking at me in my Photoshop.

The best face I've drawn in my lifetime so far. Quite an egghead.

If there's crotch trouble, use miniskirt/loincloth.

I wish to test something. Finish this up anyway you want, if you find time and motivation.
