Re: It is gone again Art Topic

The Triumphant Worm Reveling Over The Conquered Mushroom Amazing! I really see this in motion in my mind. I see it rather as the mushroom sitting there, in the eyes of the worm having been conquered, the worm triumphantly revels at it too. Ha ha ha! I feel your accomplished joy, Mr. Triumphant Worm...

Re: Forum Upgrade

Just some thoughts. However you decide to announce and share information of this kind, I guess most of us will survive. Though, I too think it’s both practical and nice to share it, especially on big forums like this. If I notice something strange (to me), the first thing I do is to double-check a...

Re: The Era of Myths: 2 years old, handing over for a while.

Well, I can honestly confess I haven’t read all 52 pages of this thread, but since this is my favourite era I think I should speak up a bit anyway. So I’m sorry if I’m saying things being said again and over again. I mostly play the elementals and the Warg. The major drawback for each of them ...

Wiki:WesnothAsianLanguages relevant?

I doubt the wiki page WesnothAsianLanguages still is needed. The information on it seems badly out of date (and irrelevant in the case of the one screenshot), and as far as I know the issues mentioned have been visited in later versions. Though, I am not sure.

Or can you just install 1.3.15 without uninstalling 1.3.14? I use Ubuntu Gutsy, if I'm out of order please tell me, and delete this post if necessary. If you compile from source yourself, it’s just a matter of adding the following (or something similar to your liking) to configure : --with-prefer...

A quick search gave me this, but I’m not sure it’s relevant. http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:MakeBot MakeBot is an extension which allows bureaucrats to grant and revoke bot status from user accounts. http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Parameters_to_index.php rollback [...] if the opti...

Be able to hide GrabberBot in Recent changes?

Just noticed how I wasn’t able to hide the changes of GrabberBot in Recent changes, like on Wikipedia (with the “Hide bots” option).

In my mind that would be a great feature, as the bot is responsible for quite a few of the wiki’s changes... ;)

I like the designs, especially so the latter two. And I think it would really deepen my feel for the game if somewhat more alternative designs were used here and there in mainline Wesnoth. Interesting to see what comes of these designs. :D Have to share this link to an image I recently noticed (rega...

I'm not sure if it is the segfault you encountered, but as far as I know the devs have fixed at least one bugging segfault in Adonthell... I believe they released a new version some months(?) back, if not it should be in the repository. By the way, your ideas sound interesting! Please report any suc...

segfault, svn

I just started to play this campaign (on Easy), and reching the third scenario “A desperate errand the game segfaults when I try to recall the older units. What the console says: kess@ardhanari:~$ wesnoth-svn & [1] 6808 kess@ardhanari:~$ Battle for Wesnoth v1.1.2+svn Started on Mon Apr 3...

Solution found!

Problem found!

I simply added --with-fribidi to configure and ran everything again. (I also had to install the dev-package of fribidi.)
