For Ubuntu users, this is widely known thanks to Ubuntu 6.06 "Dapper Drake".

However, I like Drakes as they are: cute little Dragons. 8)

Re: I need Help :/

Re: Expanded Undead faction mod (Not For Mainline!!)

Just another abilities/weapon specials list?
Actually most of the varitations sound quite generic - so where's the special undead flavour here?
Let's see what comes out of this...

You could try Ubuntu for starters.
It's quite easy to use and has a great community.

Re: '[censored]' list

I recommend using the forum search.
This idea was discussed several times and rejected.
See here, for an example.

See "mute" and "muteall".

However, these commands do only affect observers, not regular players.

Re: Can't select "Latin" as language...

Thanks, yeah, this worked, but there's a whole tail of things coming up. Next is libboost-regex-dev which depends on libboost-regex1.40-dev, which depends on libboost1.40-dev and so on... I am just not in the mood right now to update my whole system package by package. Maybe tomorrow.

Re: Can't select "Latin" as language...

Tibi gratias ago. postcriptum: I run into heavy dependency problems when trying to compile trunk on Hardy. First of all scons has to be updated, which was no major problem, but then also Lua is complaining it needs version 5.1 an even Debian Lenny Sid doesn't ship any version higher than 5.0.3-3. *s...

Can't select "Latin" as language...

Hey there, as I found out that there is a Latin translation for Wesnoth, I wanted to take a look at was had been done so far, but although all translation files are where they should be, I cannot select "Latin" in the language selector. It's greyed out together with all other languages (except Germa...

Re: Any interest in a Latin Translation?

Thanks to Aeth's signature I found this thread and will keep an eye on it. Maybe I would also be able to help, although I don't use IRC on a regular basis. Anyhow, there's at least the chance I'd learn something new and practise my Latin. As for my qualification: I had to study Latin at University f...

Re: Small Idea

Finally, Wesnoth should ask when it first starts up if you want to submit the anonymized statistics. Discovering it was doing this silently in the background without my permission felt like spyware, so I turned it off. If it has asked when it started up then I would have clicked OK. Maybe I'm not t...

We'll see. I'd consider a non-working library a major problem.
However, you're free to use any other distribution.
