What this means is that you can now increase or reduce your the recruit type options as much as you want and you don't have to expand your if statements to compensate. It is all done automatically for you. You can also add extra generic types of recruits ...

I would love a TBS with simulataneous movement phases like Masters of Orion did it (and most space 4x games followed that motif as well) . Just provide the orders and when the turn end is pressed, the movement/combat happens. This style makes the multiplayer much quicker as well as you are playing i...

OK, I may need some help now. I modified the code to make it more portable but it doesn't seem to work. Any ideas if it doesn't work because of coding error or because WML capabilities? EDIT: Since this is now fixed, I'm removing the obsolete code Using the debug feature, it seems that the recruit_t...

As per the hint I was given in the WML Workshop I modified the campaign and scenario wml so that it won't create a bug. I also fixed a part in the fl_units.cfg which I must have forgot to change. You should use these newer version. Updating your scenarios shoudn't take more than a few minutes per sc...

Were you playing on normal? Geez, that's what I call big riot... Easy but I didn't protect my entrances very well. I tried your changes but noticed no difference, I played 10 turns and the recruitment list did not change. That is strange. Did you modify your _main.cfg to load the gl_units.cfg? It w...

The recruit option are separated in categories (altough you can change/expand that) Archers, Melee, Util etc. Every time you recruit a unit, the recruit option for that categ...

gotrek I played your campaign (first 5 scenarios)and although different than the rest, you may need to work on it to make it a bit more interesting. However I had an idea while I was working to it to make it stand out from the rest. How about having your recruits be chosen randomly from a pool of re...
