It would be nice to view detailed statistics/logs per unit, but I think the right place for this is after the scenario (also after multiplayer game), or through some submenu. Displaying information which does not influence player's strategy is IMHO wrong. Okay, so how about a "Unit stats" button in...
Adding something JUST for customization AND unit customization aren't simple. Suddenly Spearmen (or any other unit) do damage/anything that they don't normally, which adds ever more variables and specifics to the game. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't units already able to pick up items? :hmm: T...

I've split out the stuff that's purely strategy on how to use horsemen (as best I could - some posts contained both) - including at least one of my own posts. Let's keep discussion here focussed on the original idea.

Why not just set him to level like other LVL5 units? Have him start with a little less DMG and have it scale up normally Because Delfador is not meant to be the focus of the campaign. Since Konrad and the other units level up, they are the focus. Delfador is more of a 'shepherd'. I'm not sure that ...
So one shouldn't be so hasty with rejecting concepts that are related to the game (we got leveling and items already) and add more tactical depth. Adding a single inventory slot so you can drop those items or give them to other units and adding a few more items doesn't seem like it would change gam...
i have a problem with his posture, though... the face is the focal point of every portrait - and you just put the wheapon in front of it. without any good reason. why? - you should really move it to the left or to the right, allowing us to see his face! or a completley different stance... :( That w...

Oh well, never mind then. The Free Goblins are set in Wesnoth (parallel in timeline to HttT).AI wrote:The idea so far is that it's set on the great continent, but a good ways off from wesnoth. (probably south/east/se)
The angle seems a bit funny, too. It presumably should be oriented towards a foe.thespaceinvader wrote:It's a nice job. The one major issue i have is the way he's holding the sword - a rapier like that one would simply not have space on the hilt for both hands - it's a single handed weapon.
99% of people should be able to answer without problem. I think you overestimate the average user's math skills. I'd guess the number at more like 75%. It'd help if you flipped the order of the question around (125 - 15 - 27 = ??), and made the question a lot easier ("What is 7 + 10 ?"). It should ...

When he gets back it'd be a good idea to assign a couple more people that access. We don't want everything coming to a screaming halt every time one person goes on holiday.allefant wrote:And cycholka (only one I know who can change the phpBB install) is currently away.
