I dunno I think it's fine as is. As Noy said seeing the village might alert you as to what took your village. I prefer it as is. Watch the flags in fog mode. If you don't well tis your own fault. It's like deciding to not look ata new units properties. Don't do your homework and you get boned over.

Actually you don't have to just watch upkeep. Even when fogged the villages will have your flag, until taken. So if you se flags disapearing your losing villages.

Wow odd to see this old of a thread reopened. Hmm I'd have to agree with Noy the ghost is no longer in any way weak. I'd also have to say undead are not a blitz faction. Blitz are better with other factions. Like the old Saurian blitz.

Hmm I can't agree with fire. Light armors would actually give the most res. As it's more for the fire to burn through. Heat up chainmail and breastplate and it's going to burn the user for a while. I can see the grunt line damage going down but if you change the hp you might as well change their descr. All along itsays along the grunt line they are hardier and take more to fall. I dunno I would like an offbranch or some unit in the undead line that can use the submerge move for more then campaign uses. As is it takes alot of movemnt to get to the deep and then your a 10% defense duck. Although I can't really see a good unit branch to even fill that job.

Actually I would prefer their resses changing myself. Sure they do have a weak attack but the glider has better resses by far then it and it's level 1. Let's do an old fashioned match up.
