It would be nice to have the zoom function at the mouse wheel. Most users try to zoom via mouse wheel (they know it from commercial games) and a UI item would not be needed.

Finally some news for modem downloaders :) The 10.0 and 9.3 repositories have been updated with wesnoth-data-full and wesnoth-data-light. wesnoth-data-light is around 18 MBs and lacks a few features such as ogg vorbis files or big graphics, but keeps the game fully playable. By adding wesnoth-data-f...

Dave,

that might be true :)

But now since I've splitted them, I'll leave it as it is. A normal player does not need the server, so split ... Maybe this subpackages become larger in future.

But on to my other question: what about tinygui? is it worth to package?

Hmm, I just tried it in the game and don't think it's that ugly. Of course, you can zoom to the extreme and get really pixelated graphics, but within a certain range, it's very nice. Would be a nice to have in the UI I guess, but your experience may vary.

Widgets for zooming in the UI?

Hi, first, I discovered that Wesnoth has a zooming ability ( keys z and x ) by running the editor and using the Zoom-Widgets it provides, I probably would have never took a look at the keyboard settings so may have never figured out that Wesnoth can zoom the battlefield. :) How about having zoom in ...

Thanks!

I am about to split into -data and -data-lite so that the wesnoth core package is playable with either normal data or data-lite.

More on that topic:
I also saw tinygui. Is it useable, does it build?
Should I also create a package for this?

The current OpenSUSE Wesnoth packages don't include the editor, nor the game server, but I already splitted them to provide the Editor, debuginfo, devel tools, and the servers in seperate packages. OpenSUSE is currently in feature freeze as we are at RC1 of 10.0, which means that no more structural ...

RPM wesnoth package splitting question

Hi,

I am about to split my wesnoth rpms into
wesnoth
wesnoth-tools
wesnoth-editor
wesnoth-server
wesnoth-campaign-server

since I don't host games, I rarely need the server. Now my question is:
what differs the wesnoth-server from wesnoth-campaign-server ?
Is it ok to pack them into one package?

Download page

Hi, one question: If one clicks on download, an old wikipage comes up ( http://wesnoth.slack.it/?WesnothBinaries) Can't we replace that with the download instructions from the newer wiki? I mean the docs from here: http://www.wesnoth.org/wiki/WesnothBinaries or http://www.wesnoth.org/wiki/Download G...
