Sorry about that! I didn't read all of Delfador's messages at the beginning of 'Battle for Wesnoth'.

Wesnoth royalty (WARNING: Heir to the Throne Spoilers!)

Good morning! I just noticed something. Konrad is king Garard's nephew. Lisa'r is old enough to command an army, so probably was born back when King Garard was alive, thus making her King Garard's daughter, thus making her Konrad's first degree cousin... At the end of Heir to the Throne, we are told...

I don't get it!

Thunder exists (see Delfador) by making a magical dfire attack.

Traitor, a unit changing sides during a battle, can probably be coded with WML.

Spies can be a custom unit given ambush or an ambush-like user created ability to scout without being seen.

So, what's new there...

Good afternoon! 1. Dave said he isn't against the idea of a missile attack. Thanks! I might remember about that for after version 1.0.0 2. About stabbing vs slashing, how exactly would a stabbing attack be different than a slashing one? See, I wanted missile and pierce to split because they have ver...

Good morning! 1. I've just had a rather stupid idea : how about if the aquilifer line had 'heals'. Technically speaking, the standard was for re-assembling legionnaires who would've gotten out of formation which is really rather like what 'heals' does by helping units who have seen heavy fighting re...

About piercing attacks

Good afternoon! To be honest, I've already brought this point up once, but then forgot about it. I've re-started Heir to the Throne recently (on Normal this time) and I've run into it again. I really think it deserves some thought. My point is this : piercing attacks are too varied in their applicat...

Good morning! (sorry, it's gotten ingrained) 1. The reason I haven't done more work on the campaign .cfg file, and won't, is very simple: every campaign I've downloaded off the server doesn't work on my computer. Turin's version which changed the .cfg file didn't work either. Hopefully, in Wesnoth 1...

Good afternoon! Well, I've done a bit more work on the campaign. You're still going to need to move all files in the crown/units folder to the Wesnoth/data/units folder for it to work well, though. The stability seems to have improved and it very rarely if ever still does the little bug I mentioned ...

Good morning! I like it, I really do. Could you just make exactly the same attack frames with a hammer instead of a axe (he has both attacks) and a defending stance? I'd use them right away. Incidentally, I've just thought of something, the dwarf noble could just be exactly the same except without t...

Good afternoon! This is funny. I had once done a few units for a roman style faction, then lost interest. I had gone in slightly different directions than you. I remember I had: legionarus -> decurio -> centurio -> optio -> primipilus The legionarius was a bit different from what you're thinking. He...

Good afternoon! I really like it! It would be even funnier than that. See, in the campaign, the goal is to ultimately become a dwarf king, so it would be fun if you actually also came to look like one. Thus, this would make an excellent image for the lvl 3 with leadership. Maybe make the axe grey in...

Good afternoon! 1. About resurrection: I don't like it, but if it is implemented, I wouldn't really mind. However, I would like it if it were made a separate command, say Shift+r instead of Alt+r. That way, one could avoid using resurrection without having to remember after each scenario which units...

Good morning! 1. I actually mentioned the thing about the campaign and unit cfg files having to be moved. It's not a bug, it's just me being lazy (my backup files have crown.cfg in the crown directory and I didn't feel like zipping my working files. 2. Yes, the first scenario is rather ridiculously ...

Good afternoon! Not even one download yet! Is it that uninteresting? Incidentally, I've play-tested the three scenarios included, and I've come to the conclusion the 3rd really needs a change. I personally quite like the 1st and 2nd (but hey, witnessing about myself here...). The third is actually g...

Good afternoon! I think the reason so many people say the mage needs to be balanced is that some players simply don't play in a way which is compatible with mages. Anyone pretending I'm a good player would be lying, but I've gotten a little experience. Enough of it to realize any mage I'd hire is ju...
