Indicating when a unit is doing better/worse than usual dmg.
Basically, it would be neat to see when a unit is hitting high or low due to time-of-day and defense-modifiers of the enemy. It would be doubly cool if you could also indicate different kinds of modifiers (but that'd be hard). Possibly colour-coding the damage-floaters: blue for "worse than usual da...

Would you mind expounding on what would be gained by this massive shift in the game engine? Some conceptual simplification of bonuses and resistances. To obscure all the maths going on, and make it clearer when resistances and bonuses ARE in effect. At the moment, resistances and bonuses are kinda ...

Replacing resistances and bonuses with critical hits.
What if, instead of a percentual bonus giving a unit more hitting power per strike based on time-of-day bonuses and negative resistances, the bonus would represent the chance of inflicting a 'critical' strike per blow, doubling the damage for that strike? And the reverse for "minuses", like resistan...

They have a strange look, you did them whit what?? Well, I have to admit one thing, these are not pixelart units, they're done in Inkscape, in vector. I'm better at vector drawing than pixelart... But I did draw them directly at the right size. I find it easier, as once the unit is drawn, ,it is fa...

Distressed unit graphics.
Would it be possible to have an option for units to have a simple "distressed" unit graphic to be used when a unit has low-HP, is on perilous terrain with low evade, is poisoned, slowed, and so forth? Humanoids could be showing slouching, or holding their weapons in a less a dynamic pose, leaning on...

Damage, or wound bars sound like an excellent idea. Would it start "loading" at the bottom, like a simple time-reversed HP bar? Does it start as zero, then a little green pip at the bottom, and then it becomes redder and bigger with more damage? Though it makes me worry how to tell high-HP units fro...

Golden crown for leader/general, silver for Don't Kill This One. ...which will be virtually invisible for the yellow and white teams, and totally invisible if the ellipses are turned off. :( Except if you force the crown even if there are no ellipses. And there could be a dark border version for ye...
