Nulled all South Guard version from campaignd and restarted the service. Feel free to upload again. (Looks to me that campaignd does not really forget the campaigns before it is restarted).

I rather delete campaign so it can be uploaded instead of giving people passwords. It is not so easy to track that you are giving the password to right person.

Turin, campaignd is not about web-space as it does not use HTML as transfer protocol... campaignd is about running daemon on your "server" with bandwidth for the job. Scott, I did not leave without warning... there was grace and after I announced that I am quiting only Isaac asked me to he...

devsrv.wesnoth.org, which hosts multiplayer server for both latest release and CVS HEAD is down for maintenance. Developers have been informed but they seem not have bothered to post to forum about it. It will be offline until I am finished with the maintenance, which can be later today or next week...

They may not know that these graphics aren't part of the game so neorice retains copyright on them until (if) he releases them under a free-use license of some sort. I don't know what counts as a "work" in this case - just the images used as part of the game or everything on the site. I t...

As I am hosting campaigns.wesnoth.org and devsrv.wesnoth.org: * both run on same system, behind same bandwidth * download 120 KB/s, upload 20 KB/s * campaign downloads and uploads eat bandwidth * multiplayer games eat bandwidth * my personal use eats bandwidth (upgrading systems, browsing web, fetch...

So we stick with Elvish, Dwarvish, Orcish, etc. the old decision remains.

Sourceforge reports 4059[*] downloads of wesnoth-windows-0.8.7.exe since 30/10/2004. Thats about one every 3.2 minutes. (9days / 4059) SourceForge is broken. Even if people can't download it reports one download. So I think quite many of this downloads are actually retries due mirrors being out of ...

there is no "correct" way to do it, since english is a messed up language, but most people seem to like elven, so why don't we use it? http://irclog.wesnoth.org/wesnoth/wesnoth.log-20031219.gz [22:48] <Sirp> on this topic, should it be 'Elvish Fighter' or 'Elven Fighter'?? ... [22:51] <mi...

If it is not broken or wrong (if that matters) then why change it at all? We have already one way to do it, which seems to be more or less "correct" so we can stick with it. Very easy, no extra work required.
