devsrv.wesnoth.org, which hosts multiplayer server for both latest release and CVS HEAD is down for maintenance. Developers have been informed but they seem not have bothered to post to forum about it. It will be offline until I am finished with the maintenance, which can be later today or next week...

Sourceforge reports 4059[*] downloads of wesnoth-windows-0.8.7.exe since 30/10/2004. Thats about one every 3.2 minutes. (9days / 4059) SourceForge is broken. If it is not broken or wrong (if that matters) then why change it at all? We have already one way to do it, which seems to be more or less "correct" so we can stick with it. Very easy, no extra work required.autolycus wrote:So why not just identify the unit by race/faction as outlined above?
