Whats the difference between Type, Descrition and user Description? Type is what kind of unit it is, e.g. Drake Clasher, Elvish Figher, Spearman, etc. User description is the name of a unit, which is displayed in the sidebar when you move the cursor over that unit (e.g. Chantal, Delfador). Descript...

Re: Sourcetrunk review : why do you like this game so much ?
1.) what makes TBFW stand out amongst other, proprietary games ? It doesn't follow the trends. You don't need the latest graphics card to play it, it's not 3D, and it's turn-based. Essentially, it offers very unique gameplay for this day and age. Also, it's available for linux. 2.) do you play othe...

Hmm... probably the simplest idea would be to add an $owner variable to the [store_location] feature. I don't think we really need a new condition filter for it, since it is not something common to filter upon. Sounds fine to me. I suggest that $owner == 0 if the village is uncaptured, and -1 if th...

It occurs to me that a [store_village_side] tag would be more useful. You could still get the proposed functionality by saying something like [store_village_side] variable=vside x,y=11,11 side=$side_number [/store_village_side] [if] [variable] name=vside numerical_equals=$side_number [/variable] ......

no, and I've never been able to work out why some people can't recruit after that point. Actually, I remember fixing that after I last downloaded it. There was a typo in one of the recruit= lists. I don't remember which one though. It might have to do with keeping Lamai, which would explain why onl...

It's a question between: http://org.wesnoth/ or org.wesnoth.www In terms of uniquely identifying the service type being used, across multiple applications. I'd personally prefer the former, perhaps with a single character instead of a :// It's a nice idea. The problem is when you have multiple serv...
Re: Wiki URLs
Thank you!ettin wrote:I have set up a redirection from wiki.w.o to www.w.o/wiki. I'm not so sure about moving everything to wiki.w.o, but I'll probably give it a try the next time we upgrade the wiki engine.
The internet would make a lot more sense with regards to its actual structure if URLs came out like: http://org.wesnoth/www/ So far as I can tell, that's how they're really structured, hierarchically - I believe /www/ is often a folder on the webserver, and if it isn't, it'd be aliased by the softw...
Yes, irrevenant is correct. The URL http://wiki.wesnoth.org does actually work, so it makes sense to take it to it's natural conclusion. It also makes auto-complete easier when typing in a URL, because www tends to be dominated by forum posts.
