Random Day/Night

I noticed that in most smaller maps that if a player starts with good units that he has a slight disadvantage. By the time he gets his villages and recruits night is come.
I know it has been proposed before, but what are the plans for or against it..?

What a great way to convince any new player who tends to side with luck, that it skill triumphs over it. I would aggree with 75%/25% ratio since skill and position and proper unit recruitment matter more so than getting lucky. The luck factor is 1 among several other factors of this game that is use...

I try to limit the size of the maps i play on. This way new recruits dont have to take 2-3 turns getting to combat. Combat is decided faster and thus means for a shorter game. Cross is my fav map. Its extremely small. And terrain is very important for winning. At most it takes 30-1hr to play out...A...

goodness..another version.
can someone please make a patch for windows for me cuase i have dial up and it takes 8 hours to download. Some guy pointed me to a way to do it by downloading this thing then running DOS and installing but thats not a patch..
