Confusing Text problem in 1.8Beta2
I'm getting a problem when playing 'Legend of Wesmere' in the scenario 'Elves' Last Stand'. When switching to giving orders to the allies, the screen is failing to display the 'Exit' box from the pop-up orders menu. This managed to really confuse me as to how to get back out of the menu when I had f...

Re: Forum Discussion thread
Ahh, yes, I understand, an entirely different kind of logical order! OK, I'll shut up now... :) Oh, by the way, it really is an extraordinarily good game; the AI is quite nasty, and presents a much better challenge than many expensive commercial games. ...and it doesn't lose a great amount of points...

Re: Forum Discussion thread
Ahh! Sorry, that was very poorly explained! I meant within the game itself; when you open the 'Campaign' menu, then I was just looking at it earlier, and having played most of the scenarios, possibly all, (my memory isn't all it ought to be these days!) I was thinking that it might be more ef...

Re: Forum Discussion thread
Is this the right place to ask a 'curious' question? Didn't really want to start a new thread for such a minor point. Would it be a good idea to have reorganise the list of available mainstream campaigns provided with the basic game into rough chronological sequence - it might given a better ...

Re: On what version did you first play Wesnoth?
Did something weird happen to the poll...??? I see there are only 195 votes and there are 258 posts - that can't make sense surely? And I'm sure there were a heck of a lot more than 20 people playing Wesnoth by version 0.6 - this forum was already a hive of activity when I first visited it!

Recruiting Main Characters - v.1.3.8
OK, a great bonus, but not quite what I assume the game intended!! When playing 'Northern Rebirth', I'm at the part entitled 'Stolen Gold'. I removed the Orcish leader in the NW quadrant, and when I decided it was time to recruit some more troops, I discovered that it would let me recruit all ...

New Development version fails...
Hi - you've got a problem with the Mac OSX binary of Wesnoth_1.3.8.
It refuses to mount the disk when you attempt to open the .dmg and I am getting a 'not recognised' error report on that.
PowerMac dual 2.5GHz G5, 2.5Gb RAM, OSX 10.4.10
