Re: Wescamp translations / reports of errors in campaigns, eras
In theory it should work automatically. The campaign server is supposed to fetch those translations with some delay and provide them on the next download of your campaign. SkeletonCrew is the one who should know what's going wrong here.

Re: A little tool made by me to create .po for your addon
You know, there's wmlxgettext in the wesnoth source file, somewhere in utils/. What you can do: get a recent add on from WesCamp, copy the Makefile, campaign.def (edit it), config.status and the po/ directory without any .po(t) files. Now, if wmlxgettext is in your path, a simple call to make will c...

Re: How to create a .po file?
If you're not sure that your campaign will stay, don't try to attract translators. They will loose way more time then developers for creating the .po files.

Re: translate=?
Which campaigns do you have problems with? A few are on the server but contain invalid characters or other errors. I posted about them a long time ago, nothing happened.

Yes, you should contact the maintainer or become the new one if the old one vanished.
You translate text, more information can be found in the wiki.

Re: Confused about translations
There's no such wiki. If you use linux it's more or less easy. You just need to copy a few files into the right places, edit the name, run make and the .pot is generated. From that master copy the .po files are made. Much of this is homegrown stuff, I think most was invented by developers who have l...

Re: Confused about translations
Once your campaign is put online into WesCamp I'll create .po files for it. Those are used for translations, best done with tools like poEdit made for the job. Those tools usually also allow you to directly translate the .po in a .mo, the binary format which is used in game. Easiest way is to get it...

As I said, the tools used to generate the pages could use more error handling.

Re: corrupted page:Wesnoth translation stats / Galis_Contract
This indicates that the campaign is broken with regards to translations. In this case a \' at the beginning which is an invalid sequence.
Nicer error messages would be fine, but in general you can expect that any error in only selected targets means that those are broken, not the website.

I wouldn't worry about the ears, I've seen far smaller ears in real life. Why always depict a medium size?

Re: Wescamp translations / reports of errors in campaigns, eras
And as to not worry - it take some time until campaign uploads make it onto the translation status page as this currently requires to different humans to act and AFAIK only I get at least mails when there's something to do.
