This is one of the few campaigns I've played through multiple times. (I think twice). Years and years ago it feels like. I saw "New gameplay mode" and got very curious. But the first level itself is very different than the last time I played it. I guess it would be the original first level...

So, the Elvish Avenger entered the game as one of my Ally's stuff which was given to me at the end of the elvish scenario. I used it because it had exp already on it and was halfway to level 4 already. I certainly did not use the unit debug command, which I don't know how to use and why would I want...

I don't have my old turns where it happened before, but I wanted to see if I could replicate what happened at my command. AND I COULD. Literally all you have to do is use a special AOE (such as whirlwind) and wait four-ish turns! And then you have double damage forever as long as you don't use an AO...

By the way, is the damage aoe drop also supposed to result in a damage buff when I don't use the aoe attack?

All my damage is doubled right now and I haven't used aoe in a while. This is certainly an unusual change and development that needs more pondering if intended.

So I decided to replay this since it's been many years. And I rediscover wesnoth every now and again and I really like items and being able to build you own mega awesome units here.
