Re: LordBob's random stuff : Nagas and more

Unrelated, I've been sketching heads for the Jinn. While its body will be mostly tattered robes and sand, I want to make its face some sort of mask the like of which might haunt old folk tales of the desert dwellers. I'm trying different directions, not sure which one to pick though. One thing's fo...

Re: [1.15.4] Possible bug in SoF: Gathering Materials

Hi Whiskeyjack. Thanks for the quick reply, and for working on this campaign. As the last one to touch that stuff, I hope I didn't cause that bug  That's what these development releases are good for, right? ;) Can you kindly provide a save file of the problem? Yep, please find the attached sav...

[1.15.4] Possible bug in SoF: Gathering Materials

After attempting the Gathering Materials scenario in the Sceptre of Fire campaign for the nth time without being able to find the gold pile, it struck me that it might be a bug that have snuck in during the recent Sceptre of Fire revamp in 1.15.3. Attached is a screenshot of what I beleive to be the...

Re: Orcish Campaign: The Founding of Borstep

After playing through beetlenaut's excellent Secrets of the Ancients, I had to check this out. In all I found it to be an enjoyable campaign, nicely written with a very good and humorous narrative (even more in-game dialogue would not hurt!), so thanks, beetlenaut! Some scenario specific comments fo...

Re: A Personal Appeal from Your Friendly Site Admin

For what it's worth, I've played through the whole Secrets of the Ancients except the last scenario on 1.13.8, and I didn't experience any issues.

Thanks, that was it. Now it builds and runs fine!

Re: Wesnoth 1.13.12 (1.14 RC 1)

I'm having an issue compiling on Debian buster (testing). I do: $ scons wesnoth And get: [...] Checking for Boost random library version >= 1.56.0... (cached) no [...] scons: *** [wesnoth] Target disabled because its prerequisites are not met scons: building terminated because of errors. But: $ apt ...

Re: Scenario Review - EI: Lake Vrug

(1) What difficulty levels and game versions have you played the scenario on? Normal, 1.13.8. (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 7. (3) How clear did you find the scenario objectives? Not too clear. On my first run, I thought the gryphon keep was the "stronghold". On my s...
