A much more minor issue I've just accidentally discovered is that the campaign is not marked as completed even after I go through the entire epilogue without skipping ahead.

Defence just implies the chance to hit somebody. It's not armour.

Found another (much more minor) thing in Volcano Mountain (just finished it): The Ring of Ice, is melee-cold-slow but the description triggered when walking onto the tile says that it's ranged -it is already a melee attack when the Death Knight is wearing it.

I did say ‘as a starting point at least’. If you want a mod to calculate that specific thing I suppose it could be done, but Ctrl+V is good for a rough guess.

Of course then, if you have a truly random number generator it's all up to chance anyway.

Ah, that's a good point, the elves had better remain in character. So, a suggestion (or not!): to give the player the alternative and still remain true to the charaterisation of the protagonists, the trolls could suggest they play fight better in the mountains and then the Elves could be disparaging...
