Re: BT attempts portraiting

So, my computer (the one with photoshop on) started having what i can only assume to be overheating problems. It's still working, but i have a bad feeling it could die on me one day. As a precaution and to avoid losing progress, i might end up posting portraits in the last batch sooner. Also, I'd li...

#2.1 In regard to the Sleepless Sea: It is not visible in the maps of TSG because it is located farther down south, so no need for an alternative nor conflict to solve
I'd like to think so, but unless this map draft gets changed, that's no longer the case.

I might allow the player to play chapter 10 before chapter 9, because they happen in parallel anyway.
That could be a good idea but it won't solve the bigger problem, namely Chapter 9 itself.

Re: Abandoned Campaigns - Need Maintainers - Open to Anyone

So I PMed SkyOne (author or Fate of a Princess etc.) and revansurik (author of A Song of Fire etc.) at the end of July asking if they planned to port their addons to 1.14 but neither has been online since then Odd that revansurik last said the campaigns are ready to be ported and the only reason th...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

I figured that's what will happen, but I honestly don't care at this point. There are so many campaigns in the latest relase that I want to try. Rather than playing this I should've done the Dragon Trilogy, because something tells me it will not be ported any time soon, and now I got rid of the old ...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

Sigh. I really hate doing this, but after month of trying to force myself to continue this campaign, I simply find myself unable to do it. The campaign was pretty good up until chapter 8 began and it had a few good moments even past that, but overall got really drawn out and repetitive by the time i...

Re: BT attempts portraiting

Ugh don't even remind me of the "lines around the mouth". That's what i meant when i said it didn't resize well. I don't think the full image looks bad - aside from me overdoing the contrast - but resizing apparently doesn't look too good when the picture is too detailed. Anyway, I'm working on the ...

Re: BT attempts portraiting

:|
Well that came out of nowhere. (Althought the coloring does look better than my old style and closer to how I'd do it now :hmm: - if we disregard the gif compression)
But aren't we getting a bit ahead of things?

Why would a major rank above a grand marshal, or a general. It's a relatively low rank.

Re: BT attempts portraiting

There's actually not much difference with how i do magic, except maybe lightning, which I've never really done before. I can see why the glare is an issue, but it only gives the eraser impression when against a super bright background like in the forum. If i open the images in a separate tab in chro...

Three additional demon portraits, including the Black Demon/Demoness and an alternate Demon Lord portrait for story dialogue involving hostile Demon Lords.

Re: BT attempts portraiting

And here we go. The Forest Spirit and Demon Lord portraits. As I've said earlier, I tried to experiment with a new coloring technique, and I believe it's a major improvement compared to my earlier stuff. It did hit me with the realization that I've been doing photoshop wrong all these years though. ...

Re: BT attempts portraiting

Okay, I was hoping to post these a bit sooner, and maybe have something else up before I make the file transfer, but things ended up dragging out, and the four sketches I have now do eventually translate to eight portraits, anyway. Plus I really feel like I should post the portraits I finished recen...

Re: BT attempts portraiting

Aside from what was already mentioned, I guess I'd say that the first one's face looks a little strange (looks almost childlike, but another thing is that the nose is a bit strange to me, maybe too high and mouth maybe too low). The curve of her cheek may have something to do with it as well. Well ...
