Are you sure? Because unless i remember incorrectly, the victory speech was unique for every legendary enemy, and this is the only one that referenced decapitation.

You can't rely on reloading to fix bad rng. Slow can be a game changer, especially when dealing with high damage units.

There's also A New Order, where the second half of the campaign uses hub maps, but nothing really happens on those. You get some loyal units sometimes and you pick what order you do different scenarios, or even do optional ones, but that's about it.
