Healing twice in one round?

Was this changed in the most recent version? Ch...

[engine] Save games backwards compatible or migrate tool

Hey all, Wouldn't it be nice to not lose our saved games (plus the pretty badges of "campaign complete") between versions of the game? Were there actual format changes that made the saves from 1.12 to 1.13 not compatible? If so, Is there a simple command, or tool to migrate from 1.12 to 1....

[interface] Tooltips in Recruit and Recall boxes

Hi, I've felt the need and thus this is a useful thing for others too, not to mention for consistency: - To have hovering tooltips when in the Recruit and Recall box, just like we have in other parts of the game. The most similar Idea thread on this I could find is: https://forums.wesnoth.org/viewto...

HttT-The Siege of Elensefar - Go for fast ending or milk XP?

Hi Guys, Playing normal, the first campaign, I found myself being able to win "fast" but also being able to milk XP (since the undead adversary was churning 1 unit a turn and sending them alone). Thus, in such a situation, what would you prefer? :) (I'm kinda reluctant to post this, since ...

Re: Multiplayer Replay Analysis

XD!! Thanks guys! Before reading I played again using almost the same tact: - poachers in swamp - 2 foots to grab far away villages (I understand now that indeed the benefit is negligeble, these 2 units should have joined the fight immediatelly) - poachers and thugs on not-swamp and this time for so...

Re: Multiplayer Replay Analysis

(May I ask for improvement tips on campaign games as well? Well, here goes :D) So, things I think are OK/good-enough (please correct me if this is a too strong assumption) - I'm starting with one lvl3, two lvl2, two almost lvl2 units - I plan on holding the line at the bridge and swamp (swamp with p...

A Tale of Two Brothers, in Hard : ass wooped

So I'm just starting to play the game, and went to try the "A Tale of Two Brothers" in Hard, and got my ass wooped twice in the second mission "The Chase" What should I be doing in general? (to see if I spot some rookie mistake) I.e., how many of the original 9 loyal units are ex...
