Re: Questions about a Micro AI: Wolves

Thank you for taking time to help me with my AI issues. I tried what you suggested. They stay grouped while moving, which is part of the behaviour I am seeking for. But when it comes to attacking, they tend to do it separately, while I would prefer them to do it all together. This behaviour indeed s...

Re: Questions about a Micro AI: Wolves

Thank you for your answer and your suggestions Changing the Micro AI in this way is definitely possible with [micro_ai]action=change, the problem is determining the condition when this should be done. Maybe something like: change behavior once any bandit of the group (or all of them) get within X he...

Questions about a Micro AI: Wolves

Hello, I am using the Wolves MAI in one of my campaigns. This AI manages several groups of bandits (I don't use multi pack, the different bandits bands are just different sides). They're chasing traders (who use goto MAI), and the player has to protect the traders. I join a replay and the wml. I qui...

Re: Napoleon project

Yep, the version on the 1.12 server is buggy, and it's not maintained anymore. I believe all the issues of this type have been mentionned in the previous pages of this thread, as well as the modifications to apply to solve them, if you feel like doing exploration. But I recommend to install BFW 1.14...

Re: Nenau's sprites, advice welcome

Those gladiators are meant to be used with roman sprites from Turin, that tend to be slightly smaller as mainline ones, but actually, I'd prefer my units to be as compatible as possible with mainline. See a comparaison below size_comparison.png The secutor is indeed the smallest of those lvl3 units....

Re: Pax Romana : The Rise of Vespasian

And I'll be happy to correct these mistakes.
I suppose there are less mistakes in the firsts scenarii, that have already been proofread, than in the rest.

Re: Nenau's sprites, advice welcome

Actually, both should have armor only on the left leg (like the Secutor) because it's the one that is closest to the adversary. I didn't want to change it first because it was a small mstake, but now that I will work again on the Mirmillo's leg, I guess I will correct it. Noted about the shield. It ...

Re: Nenau's sprites, advice welcome

You're right that there is something wrong going on with the Mirmillo's leftmost leg. Maybe I didn't use enough tones in the bottom part of the armor piece... Or maybe the angle of the knee is wrong. I'll maybe try an other version later. About the sandals, the gladiators are supposed not to wear an...

Re: Nenau's sprites, advice welcome

That is right, but actually for now, I prefer to keep the shadows very simple. Maybe some day I will change my mind and add details into shados...
The mainline sprites sometimes add such details in shadows and sometimes not, so I decided to keep it as simple as possible.

Re: Pax Romana : The Rise of Vespasian

Updated the add-on. The main features are the following : * Cleaned the abilities descriptions * Reworked Jericho: the player has to actually attack the walls (done with a combination of guardians) and enemy gold was decreased to compensate * Added a scenario with different gameplay just after. I di...

Re: Nenau's sprites, advice welcome

Yep.
The gladiator has an armor only on his most exposed arm (the right one for shield bearers and left one for the retiarius)
