Re: ghype's Daily Art #51 - Portraits

The portraits looks fairly good, actually. I'd probably suggest removing the hood, though. It would also be a good idea to align the hand with the rest of the arm, as it currently seems to weirdly "branch" from the arm. thanks, but I started off with a good one. there are worse to come. I tried it ...

Re: ghype's Daily Art #50 - Portraits

OK so it has been some time. I will now post some of my Franken Portraits. DISCLAIMER: these are far from being as good as my sprites. in fact, I think most of them are quality wise bad, but they are as good as I could make them. that doesn't mean that there aren't any goods between them. So here th...

Re: Looking for Help with Unit Shading and Colour

Hello there. first of all, I can see that this is not your first pixel artwork. However, In my opinion, this is far from looking wesnoth-ish. Here are some halflings/gnomes from WotG era compilation, which I think are good references if you want to make wesnoth-ish gnomes, body proportions and body ...

Re: ghype's not so Daily Art #49 - Eternal Era

I saw these in-game yesterday, and they're a good addition. But the breasts seem misplaced on the Anglican, Pegasus and maybe the Retriever. The body, face, arms and belly-button are all facing south-east, but the bottom of the bra is horizontal to the viewer, as if the torso is facing south. thank...

Re: Looking For Help With Unit Shading and Colour Placement

so yeah. i think in comparison to your lv 1 good/evil halfling, neither the lv2 nor the lv3 look good. but thats because the lv 1 look really good now. the armour color/shading looks off. it looks more like a ball of metal the full-armour plates. maybe take a reference to an armour you like from wes...

Re: Nenau's sprites, needing advice

the turret looks like online the outline was drawn on top of the tank without altering the camo. thats why it looks flat too. maybe change the camo pattern a bit on the turret.

Re: Edwylm's sprite alterations

where did you get that hat from for the lv 2?

btw, here are the animation for the wheel only. I never really did animations before.
the wheel without flashes looks cleaner. right?

Re: Edwylm's sprite alterations

well it didn't took long. I just felt that the spear was too short so I changed it to a lance. also the ropes were missing on the non-moving sprite. If you like these, then I was thinking about to find a way to animate all wheels with no big hustle. 4 frames at max. the attack animation can be copy&...

Re: Do you even sprite bruh

are welcome to try it too?
or is it something exclusive to you?

the base for the first two sprite can be easily franken and every thing else can be edited manually.

Re: Ageless Era - Current Version: 4.20

It's Vampire + Empire. That will be explained in the campaign. x) I'm not sure if making a pun that strongly looks like a typo is a good idea... Bitrons seems to fancy altering known race names into something new, but similar. I guess you should take them more as faction names, not race name.

Re: Edwylm's sprite alterations

yes, nice!
these ramming ones could be their single animation frame for moving. the standing goats are just fine for them standing.
good work.

Re: Looking For Help With Unit Shading and Colour Placement

use isolated white pixel to enhance certain few places, like the boots, knees , hair too. sometimes white is too much, on black it is enough to use a light grey colour. I like the pose a lot now. however, the head feels still too big like a booble-head. check other mainline sprites and compare their...

Re: Centaur and Kentauride Faction

hello there. first of all I think the thread is on the wrong category. I first posted my artwork here to and was advised to move it to the "art workshop" thread. secondly, it was your sprites who gave me the idea to make my own centaurs, mostly because I felt there was something off with your centau...
