So it crashes during the messages when he first appears? Weird. Could you try it again, and (assuming wesnoth still crashes) post the resulting log file?

That was intended; all I changed was a couple words of the campaign description.

There may be a bug in Northern Alliance, about Ferok killing Dysleguth: the var called test_x is then tested under the name text_x (spotted it?). It would be "A role playing game," but I (and I think most people?) just say the letters, "Arr-Pee-Gee." That starts with a vowel sound, so "an" it is.

When you buy a mug of ale, it says it heals +3. When you go to the use item menu, it says +5. Thanks for reporting it and providing saves, normally that would be everything I need to figure out the problem.
