Re: Legend of the Invincibles

Sorry for double post but other post was getting cluttered anyways.

Here's a savefile with an example of lvl-up bug. If you end turn there the gryphon rider should get attacked on all sides by spectres and if lucky enough lvl up (and then not get healed, and die shortly after or the next turn)

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

- For the no heal on lvlup while defending, need to remember to load the turn before/recreate situation/save, will do that as soon as I get another case >_> - For the bow it'll have to wait till I can get my undead recalls again later in C7 cause its stuck on one of those >< - For double damage here...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

Replaying a Loti campaign with 1.14, few things : - like moony, i noticed that since advancement is delayed to start of turn, sometimes advancing does not regen the unit to full (and sometimes it does o_O). - I don't know whats causing it, but I'm often getting double damage. Litteraly double, my tr...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

About absorb
(I'd suggest 8/7/6 and/or raising the gem prices of the weapon).
Sounds like really good values, but I'd do both (8/7/6 and slightly raise the price, as it's really cheap right now.)

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

Someone was asking a while ago for a wiki page that lists the drop probabilities for each scenario, so now it exists: https://wiki.wesnoth.org/LotI_Scenarios. I can't find who requested it, but sorry for taking so long! Thanks so much, wasnt the one asking but thanks so much nonetheless.....

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

Thanks ! In the meantime, I'm done with chap4 so here's some more feedback : It was pretty fun overall, more interesting for sure, thanks a lot for the great work :) My only gripe would be with some bugs, but nothing game-breaking, and its mostly annoying for the end/next chapter (loss of gear) So h...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

Oh I didnt mean it to be too strong, I meant that equiping it gave me over 9000000 amounts of attacks, giving me whats closest to infinite damage, and that definitely seemed like a bug oO (+crashes i felt where related to it, but only did one kind of test, and not an expert :P ) That bug was fixed,...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

the "Touch of Death" gloves (-4 attacks +18 dmg) have a slight problem thats common in rpgs where you substract values... it seems like below the minimum, you get the max value. Maybe I could nerf it a bit. Maybe half its increase damage effect? If you think the crashes are caused by the lack of ba...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

It's been some time i havent played Loti, I saw there's a nice few updates and even better, you reworked/added stuff to 4 and 9 ! Since its been even much longer I havent played c1-5, I started a brand new fresh game from the github version. Few comments so far, including bugs (my apologies if alrea...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

#redeem-spells I like the idea of more AMLA's and in general more power for redeem spells. Playing late in the campaign and having to take "useless filler" redeem AMLA's because you've already gotten what you want feels awful. Plus I'll admit I've very rarely felt redeem spells to be worth the inves...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

Very interesting/intruiguing new legacies proposed : About Nightbound : The sunburn damage idea is awesome ! Just as leech or frostbite are small damage, I believe there is a need for more units taking small damage in one's army. The reason for that being we have a lot of small healing sources (rege...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

Hello there, it's been a while Downloaded latest SVNbuild from github for a new C6-10 playtrough I'll start with a small question I don't remember reading any info on : what are the priority rules for damage conversion ? I.E. If I use a ring converting damage to blade and a sword converting damage t...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

Looking good, keep up the nice work matso, and thanks again for going through the hassle of doing it :D
About what was talked before, I also like it more out of game, to browse trough it while moving/doing other stuff and getting inspired/interesting ideas
