The creepers would buzz past my towers, and then I recognized that there was nothing to enable my towers to attack unless an enemy ended its move adjacent to the tower. I was working on a port of this also. The Tower Defense paradigm doesn't work very well in this engine unless you allow towers to attack every tile between a moveto . That was one of the things which I was doing. Otherwise, you would want ranged attacks on the towers. I suppose you could design a ch...

The trouble is with playing the file Mountain_Witch/music/Arkenstoned.ogg . I'm not certain why Lua is coughing at it, but this trouble resides in the Lua underworkings and how the engine handles that audio file, and not with this campaign, methinks. If you want an era that doesn't use new game mechanics, then don't use those which do. There are plenty of other eras which are more like ol' Battle For Wesnoth. My first thought, and probably many others' too, would be that so many available combinations of attacks causes the computations to slog through processing which doesn't predict each combination in parallel — but I don't know what I'm talking about there, because I've not looked at how it processes ...
