I would be up for anything dwarf-related.

Re: Barag Gor

Don't think I ever saw any. But I am quite sure it's name was modified from Barad-dûr.

Re: Books discussion

I guess there is no need to mention Tolkien :) But Asimov's Foundation is really great.

Re: Split from Scripts for Wesnoth

I have an idea for x. For the style, we actualy could use /x/. I mean the breathy russian х. It could be a standalone h affected by the modifier. A voiced h made into a breathy h. Also, the name Kuhnar suggests that standalone h is needed (SoF if not mistaken). Totally agree with your ideas about th...

Re: Split from Scripts for Wesnoth

2. I totally agree. The h operator would only affect some consonants, e.i. it would be used with particular consonants. Standalone h consonant is needed. Also, I think ng sounds really elvish, reminds of sindarin. 3. Sure. 4. I suggest making it rough, but subtle rough. Like a music that not all cul...

Re: Split from Scripts for Wesnoth

Yeah, these points need consideration. 1) The "h" case: what if we make "h" a consonant and an operator? It wod have a rune and a mark. Whenever it is used after a vowel or a vowel complex, the rune is used and it goes like a consonant. If it comes after a consonant, it is used as an operator that m...

Re: Split from Scripts for Wesnoth

Yeah, I know that 9 are few. But the funny thing is that if we count h as a vowel, Wesnothian dwarvish names only use 12 consonants, but a couple are only seen several times. Yes, that's what I meant about "h". It kind of suits the style. The system of vowels might need consideration, since we also ...

Re: Split from Scripts for Wesnoth

Whiskeyjack, Even as I was typing my last message, I started thinking about the outer loop. It would be much more sensible to make it clockwise: Fuel hides in stone; Stone (ore) is purified to metal; Metal is used to cut gems or earn gems; Gems can be used to buy fuel; It would make the interactions...

Re: Split from Scripts for Wesnoth

Sorry for taking so long to upload it. Here it is. I started with the cultural background. I wanted to stay less complicated, so I limited the number of runes in the set. This might prove ill, since this runeset is not enough to write all dwarvish Wesnothian names. But it was made more like for gene...

Re: The Golden Age

The problem is that the identity of the names might be the reason of the goblin number bug.

Re: Abandoned Campaigns - Need Maintainers - Open to Anyone

Hey guys, wanted to know: is The Earth's Gut still maintained? It's great, but Anonyssimuss is gome somewhere.

Re: The Golden Age

I would suggest making the names different, because after I advance one transport, everybody's ability becomes twice more powerful.

Re: The Golden Age

Hi ForestDragon. If I am not mistaken, at first transport ability of goblin transport said it spawned 3 goblins. As soon as I advanced one to goblin caravan, it said it's 6 goblins. Is that a bug? And the dismounting button is ridiculous. A transport costs 33, a goblin costs 9. If I dismount, the up...
