Re: Help needed playing To Lands Unknown

Yes, very helpful tips, thanks! A New Team Red: My problem was I did not have enough Elementals advanced (fire) so I went back a few scenarios and advanced more of them. Having an Air God and a few Fire Gods really made all the difference in the world. Since this scenario had only 3 villages to heal...

Re: Campaign: Only Death Behind ~v1.0.3~

Just finished FoD and ODB campaigns and wanted to comment that I really enjoyed them. Drakes are so fiercely loyal, one of my favorite units, so I liked the first campaign better. I thought The Promised Land in FoD was the most balanced scenario. I would have liked less poisonous spiders/scorpions (...

Re: Help needed playing To Lands Unknown

Aw yes, I switched him to Air and he did much better. I think I spent too much time in the previous scenarios advancing the Summoners and should have advanced more Elements. Mehir was a Grand Summoner until the change in this scenario, a couple of them would be good to have. I think I will go back a...

Help needed playing To Lands Unknown

I just finished Legend of the Invincibles and A Beautiful Child, so thought I would try To Lands Unknown next. First off this campaign has beautiful graphics and a great story. But I am having problems with my stratagy, not sure what I am doing wrong. Having to reload many times because I lose. Now ...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

Just finished the campaign, loved it!!! The whole campaign is a masterpiece of creativity. The story was interesting throughout, the twists and turns kept it fresh. The flaws in the characters made them believable and I cared about what happened to them. The enemies were unique, and the different pl...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

So I'm at the end of Chapt 9 and having fun advancing some more units and trying out different gear just for kicks. :) Something I am curious about: why does this one Champion Bowman have brown colored damage numbers, even when I removed all gear and he has some moves left? He is the only one I noti...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

Sounds like you have not killed all of the seal guardians yet. It looks like Tome of Bards I and II should not be given to the same unit, they would add duplicate advancements that I don't think stack. Thanks Robinson and Dugi for the helpful info, glad I asked so as not too waste a good book. :D W...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

North is blocked, you have to go a bit south and reach the other side of the area through the central parts. Go through River Styx. See the image in spoiler. Another question: Should I give the Tome of Bards II book to the unit who read vol 1? I don't think there is an advantage to have both on the...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

Hi Dugi, I have made it to Chapter 9, and I am enjoying the game very much!!! :D :D :D Would you help me with a couple of questions? In the first part of Chapter 9, Two seals have been found and one seal left to go, but... the path NE is "blocked by magic" at two different locations. This ...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

I think I've seen tints like that in transitory states and/or when incinerated; did Leth get a frost bite? You must be right, it is happening to other units in the next scenario when they get hit by one of the Lethalia clones. They have the ability to incinerate so it must be that. I wonder what we...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

This is how I killed Argan... Thanks for sharing. :) Doesn't really sound like fun. I don't think I had access to draining. As I'm constantly rummaging in the .po (text) file while playing LotI anyway, I got his story that way... :D Ya, it was not the most exciting way to defeat someone, but the on...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

I corned him with a few units I meant to say "cornered" not "corned." We didn't kill him by "corning" him, although it could be a new weapon I guess. :hmm: Corned: verb (used with object) 10. to preserve and season with salt in grains. 11. to preserve and season with b...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles

@All: Has anyone here ever killed Argan in "An Old F(r)iend"? How? I'd still like to hear if anyone ever did that. A certain author claims it's possible - while not giving any details - but I don't think so. Just finished this scenario and remembered seeing this post awhile ago. This is h...
