Re: "unknown scenario" error

After a while of searching through my history. I found it. It turns out that it was my mistake as you said. I confused [path] with [moveto], because originally I was using the path function and when I discovered the moveto I just changed the tag and not the variables inside of it. In case you were c...

Re: "unknown scenario" error

@Elvish_Hunter Thanks, with your help I made the part work and could continue into the next part. As for the creating my own WML, believe me, I'm not. The only reason I had that was because after searching countless youtube videos I found one with it included under the same tag. So for that reason, ...

Re: "unknown scenario" error

You have type="Dwarvish Sentinel without ending ". Currently you do not use macro parameters there, and I suspect guard ids too. I used wmlindent on it and fixed " as it messed up syntax highlighting. That's amazing! I actually just narrowed it down to that section too after commenting it out from ...

Re: "unknown scenario" error

I have another strange mysterious error. In my program, it says the macro of CREATE_GUARD_1 cannot be found. It is clearly defined here: #Disregard the indentation from copying pasting #define CREATE_GUARD_1 id [unit] id=Tracy type=Great Mage name="Queen Tracy" gender= female canrecruit=yes side=1 u...

Re: Missing Macro in Code

You need to have macros defined before you actually use them. Well yeah of course, I did. I don't call the definitions until after I define them of course. But the thing is: it says those variables X Y and Z with the things around them are their own macros, which they aren't they are the inputted v...

Re: Missing Macro in Code

Somehow you forgot to update to: to_x, to_y={X},{Y} Well, it's not that. It normally has been that, however I took the brackets (or whatever they're called) off because I receive the error that the macro {X} cannot be found or is not a file. That goes for {Y} and {Z} as well. The next part of the c...

Missing Macro in Code

This new error in my code has struck me for 30 minutes now(read the "details" section at the end of this post). I simply don't understand why this is not registering. It worked a while ago as a variable inputted. It's easier showed than explained. Here is the definition: #define MOVE_AND_UNSHROUD X ...

How to create user option table in scenario

In my long campaign-like scenario, I come across these powerful dwarves. Long story-short, they will end up either being my ally or my enemy. All I have is the moveto event that would trigger this sort of diplomacy, but need help with understanding and creating a table with options. I believe this i...

Re: How to uncover fog/shroud during [move_unit]

Thank you very much. Also, after I played with what you gave me, I was able to do this. A similar problem has occurred, however, and I believe it is a simple error (because as of now I am working on learning the definitions (macros)). So, all I want is for a side number that is inputted when calling...

How to uncover fog/shroud during [move_unit]

So in my scenario that I'm creating, I'm at the beginning with a cutscene. So, my one Paladin should be able to move through the shroud or fog (preferably both) and uncover the shroud or fog to the number of hexes as is their sight range. I am aware that there is a tag called [redraw] for this, but ...

Re: "unknown scenario" error

Yeah thanks I actually just found that before you sent that. Still, however, it did not help. I have been updating my code the whole time, so you may want to see my updated code. My main.cfg is so simple it doesn't make sense. main.cfg: [textdomain] name="wesnoth-my_first_campaign" path="data/add-on...

Re: "unknown scenario" error

My intention was to comment those 3 out because I receive this error: The following add-on had errors and could not be loaded: C:/Users/Name/Documents/My Games/Wesnoth1.12/data/add-ons/my_first_campaign/_main.cfg Please report this to the author or maintainer of this add-on. "unknown scenario" error

I too have this problem, and this is my first scenario for my to be campaign. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Anyway, here's my main.cfg [textdomain] name="wesnoth-my_first_campaign" path="data/add-ons/my_first_campaign/translations" [/textdomain] #textdomain wesnoth...
