One way I can see this work is if you make a scenario where players can do several challenges repetitive. The number of total tries can be taken as scores.

Create overlay from core images.

I guess it's possible to create overlays from existing core images. For example, you can take the items/potion-red.png, shrink it and put it at the corner.

I'm not sure if anyone has done similar things through image path functions WML. Is there any codes that I can borrow?

It's not about being a bad guy. Mindra's mother killed Anea's grandma, so she doesn't feel very helpful to me. It feels like some ugly surprise awaits.

No. As you have seen, I've never chosen Mindra. It just doesn't make sense to choose Elf after that prologue.

Alias tells you what the game think this terrain is when deciding things like unit movement costs, defense, and being village.

Normally, no two units should have the same ID. You can check this via :inspect, there should be some suffix to distinguish them. You should filter unit type instead, and iterate over each unit.

It was necessary to advance the unit because in 1.12 deleting the variable in the [unit] would not remove the existing object, so one need to force update.

One side effect is that if you update the unit by advancing to the same unit type, it would trigger the custom AMLA that many add-ons use.

I have no problem if the summon spells are of low efficiency in 1v1. I don't want to put in alternative balances because it bewilders people. I have observed hundreds of games with xp mod and it's always the default setting, and I imagine this to be the case with my mod too. I like the liminal chant...
