Re: Android support thread

Finally, 1.12 is available for Android . Right now, 1.12.0 sources are available on SourceForge. Also, if you bought the app when it was available on Google Play and have a valid transaction ID, apk download is available too (so you won't need to build it from sources). Being out from Google Play a...

Re: Android support thread

Just saw this thread: http://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=40910&p=574882&hilit=android#p574882 The answer there to this guys question would make sense as to why the other port is allowed to stick around and not yours: IIRC our legal counterpart gets a share from Androthsoft's s...

Re: Android support thread

I have created a page on my website where, if you have Google Play transaction ID, you can download the apk (which is currently the same there was on Google Play, so 1.10.7): http://www.alessandropira.org/bfw_android/get.html Also, as a small way to say I'm sorry for the app removal, I've also put ...

Re: Android support thread

Have you, by any chance, talked with the Wesnoth devs about removing their outdated Android app from the market? If they aren't going to keep it updated, then it isn't going to be very useful since it won't be compatible with the versions running on PCs. If they were to remove it, Google may allow ...

Re: Android support thread

Ok, bad news: Google is not willing to re-enable my app. I'm really upset about this... I don't think it's about just the icon (which, by the way, I would have gladly changed if they'd just bothered to ask). And I don't think it's a open source related matter... it's a Google Policy violation matte...

Re: Android support thread

Today Google forbidly suspended my app from Google Play. They just said it violated this policy: https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/2986097?hl=en They didn't told me how or why exactly I violated it, but I suspect that being two BfW apps on the store, they wanted to remo...

Re: Android support thread

This is bad for me as I had purchased from you but recently had to retire my old galaxy tab. I have a replacement, but now I don't have the apk to install. What should I do.

I hope they fix this soon. I mean this is an open source project so there should be no violations.

Re: Android support thread

As this is a fairly long thread I had a question for you: To compile this source on Windows I need 1)Java JDK 2)Android SDK? Anything else? Do I need the full build environment for the PC version (C++ code I guess) of BfW as well? Actually I use to do my builds on Linux, but AFAIK Java jdk and Andr...

Re: Android support thread

You may have noticed a new upgrade. As promised, I've added on screen keyboard icons for message sending and switched "cancel planned action" and "execute planned action" icon position. Up to date sources are here: http://www.alessandropira.org/wesnoth_android/WesnothAndroid-1.1...
