Re: A Little Adventure (SP campaign for 1.14)

Novice campaign??? On the "difficult" difficulty setting this campaign is unplayable. Scenarios 1 and 2 are easy, I beat them without losing any loyal units and with plenty of turns to spare. The naga fight is kind of difficult, but winnable. Traveling through the wolves/bats infested hill...

Re: Ladder Era - Competitive 1v1 play on the Ladder of Wesnoth

Nice job with the era, I definitely think it is more balanced. One change I would recommend is improving the heavy infantry unit. Compared to its counterparts (wose, troll) it is SIGNIFICANTLY worse, and I very rarely use them. Compared to the wose they cost 1 gold less, but have much worse movement...

Re: Where to save files for a campaign/scenario???

Thanks a lot for the reply ice! The userdata folder doesn't exist there, either, but that is of course where all my add-ons go (campaigns included). I guess I should create a directory of userdata/data/campaigns/"nameofmycampaign" in my add-ons folder, then, and if I put my campaign file t...

Where to save files for a campaign/scenario???

Hi everyone, I'm having trouble completing the first/most important step of making a campaign/scenario- I don't know where to save my .cfg files! I've read that I should save my files in userdata/data/campaigns, but that doesn't seem to exist on my computer. This is very confusing because Wesnoth ha...

Re: Cities of the Frontier - now for BfW 1.11

Hey, thanks a lot for making this campaign/scenario. It's very unique and a lot of fun to play. More could be done, though, to increase its replay value. Since the strategy is pretty linear (build lots of farms close to each other and protect them), even though it has lots of random events, I still ...

Re: Salt Wars (EoFM campaign)

Great era, great campaign. They both show a level of sophistication/strategic depth that is very rare in Wesnoth. My favourite scenario was destroying the convoys from the swamps, though I agree that some way of making it clearer that the enemy got weaker from convoys destroyed would be good (maybe ...

Re: Fall of Silvium

1. I am playing on Wesnoth 1.10 on Ubuntu, on the hard difficulty. 2. I am posting to report two problems that have made the campaign virtually unplayable, although I liked the campaign up until these problems. First, When I killed the traitor in the Port City (and I agree with the previous poster t...

Bad Math

HI, There seems to be an error with the math calculator of the game. A skeleton archer does 5x3 damage during the day normally, and should do 6x3 damage to cavalry as cavalry have 20% negative resistance to pierce attacks (5x.2=1). He still only does 5x3 to the cavalry, however... Do you know why th...
