Re: Wesnoth 1.14 on Android

As a workaround to package downloading problems you can get zip files manually from sourceforge and put them into /sdcard/. The game will then unpack those instead of downloading.

Re: Inclusion of The Battle for Wesnoth android port to F-Droid

Hello, I'd like to propose the inclusion of the android port of the Battle for Wesnoth to F-Droid. F-Droid is a free and open source software repository, where every app is built from source and signed by F-Droid. The inclusion policy requires approval from the project authors. Since The Battle for...

Re: Wesnoth 1.14 on Android

Say, is there a way to add custom buttons to the port myself? Because right now we can use the "end turn", "next unit" and a couple of other buttons, but I would like to have the "recruit" and "recall" on specific buttons as well. Hello. Sorry, but no... new ...

Re: Wesnoth 1.14 on Android

I tried updating the OS, but it was already up to date. Version 4.4.2 What specs do you need? Hello. Sorry for taking some time to answer (and thanks to RolfDhew for keeping an eye on the thread). If you know how to get the logcat output of the crash that would help a lot. Also, the /sdcard/ folder...

Re: Wesnoth 1.14 on Android

Interestingly enough, when I take a screenshot, the resulting image is not tinted blue... even though it is while I play. This *could* be a symptom that there is a screen filter or gamma correction set by the device for some reason. Are you sure there isn't anything inside phone settings that can c...

Someone reported that the problem was fixed by turning on "Color Correction" on Settings --> Accesibility on the device.

Re: Wesnoth 1.14 on Android

Hello. I installed 1.14.3 on a tablet and a smartphone. As posted, the unit colour in minimap doesn't work. Another issue with chat message during a game : the first letter of the message doesn't show. It shows for example ello instead of hello. Don't have the issue in lobby, only in game. And I ha...

Re: Wesnoth 1.14 on Android

First off, the sliders. Not only are they small, they lack frames and there are no scroll arrows, which makes scrolling through lists tricky. I need to tap directly above or below the slider (which in the case of drop-down lists will simply close them), or double tap the screen and drag the selecti...

Re: Wesnoth 1.14 on Android

Ok, I've released a new version, which includes some bugfixes. Moving Anlindë (the unit next to the gates) to the stone tablet at 26,28 should trigger a cutscene, and at some point an error message like the one below should display and cause it to abort further event processing, making it impossible...

Re: Wesnoth 1.14 on Android

Uhm... no. First off, as i mentioned, the app itself is what's cleaning the folders. It says so in the same progress bar where the download progress is shown. Second, it only deletes the packages when i start the app and don't check the boxes, and only the packages i don't check. If i check the pac...
