Re: Balance of the game
Based on purely single player experience with Undead: I think the mobile Undead units are very hard to level up compared to other factions at level 1. Their units are much more fragile. They do have the ghoul which has lots of health but that unit moves slowly. On the other hand, I absolutely loved...

Re: On the passphrase announcement
Ahh...well...C++....*grumbles*. Not really looking toward touching that anytime soon. At a very quick glance seems like you are using custom network stuff in C++? I suppose this came out too early before REST? (Quick google came up with https://github.com/mrtazz/restclient-cpp although I'm not sure ...

On the passphrase announcement
What exactly is the backend server written in? It's fairly trivial to use pbkdf2 to encrypt a password and then recalculate the value in nodejs. The password can be hashed or encrypted between client and server as well, although this is a more complicated task given crypto libraries are usually very...

Re: A Song of Fire: SP Campaign Feedback and Reviews
revansurik, I contacted Lord Knightmare about my problem and he said to change your obsolete codes in the _main.cfg files of your campaigns. Um, hadn't realised the main.cfg file in ASoF had elves-desert instead of elves-south... Why change these folders' names all the time anyway? :annoyed: Well, ...

Re: Clicking in new development version
This is no longer the case in the new scheme: To make a unit do something I need to left-click to select it and right-click to make it do something. To access the right-click menu I must first deselect a unit with a double left-click before I'm allowed to access the menu with a right-click. To go f...

Re: Wesnoth 1.11.8
I have to say the new control scheme may be be annoying for laptop (Windows/Linux) players in additional to Mac users. It would require me actively clicking down on a part of my touchpad to get right click, and constantly clicking would be annoying. Furthermore, the right click area is shared with t...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Is it working as designed that Efraim resets in Castle of the Wicked? Cause my character did...I'm trying to figure out how to do the level when my character is terrible and when I lost the items that were equipped...maybe I should edit the save game..hmmm. Edit: nevermind, the problem fixed itself ...

According to the profile page, Elfish Overlord (Level 4) with leadership advances to Elfish Overlord (also level 4) without Leadership (was looking at unit stats of the Elfish Council in Part II: In the Magic Mirror)

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Did you MOVE Delenia to a different hex before you killed the zombie? You need to move her. Version.png 1.11.1 32 bit Wesnoth from the main site (http://sourceforge.net/projects/wesnoth/files/wesnoth/wesnoth-1.11.1/wesnoth-1.11.1-win32.exe/download), LotI 2.4.14 from the add on server on Win7 Home P...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Did you see the image I just added to my post above?
I loaded the new save file I posted above, did the steps, and it was reproducible for me.
I can give you a save 1 step before the save in my previous post/image so you can see what is going on when Delenia levels into the bugged state.

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
The save file already has the bug replicated and done. All I did was start the very first scenario on 1.11.1 (2.4.14 version) with debug mode on (you can do it via a shortcut ex C:\Games\Wesnoth\wesnoth.exe --debug), advance one of the units to a bugged state, move said unit, then advance a differen...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Here's a savegame, first scenario, done via unit advances = 11, move 1 tile, then unit advances = 1 on the main character. Wesnoth 1.11.1 and 2.4.14 Campaign. ---------------- Feedback about the difficulty: Turn limits could be higher on maps with Shroud for Medium/Normal, I failed quite a few of th...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
I have a bug with units being duplicated on advancement (AMA) on Wesnoth 1.11.1 and LotI 2.4.14. It seems to affect the unit on every other advancement and tied to a bug with advancement itself. Unit A Advances past Level 4 (Max) Pick an AMA. (Side note:) On occasion the AMA doesn't take effect (tha...
