The fact that many player agree on something doesn't mean it's a good change. Balance shouldn't be a democracy.

I used bridges with deep water on most of the maps i made for this very reason. It's a really good way to buff Undead if you don't want too much fungus on the map. And, of course, it's cool.

I welcome the burner change. In my opinion it never really worked out as a melee/ranged unit. It always should've focused on the latter. This way it'll deal 9-3 fire damage during the day, just like mages, minus the magic. Which is very much needed against UD.

Sounds more like poor scenario design than anything. Not unusual for NR. Leaving a unit overpowered to compensate for a lazy design is not the ideal solution. I would redraw the scenario itself.

I haven't thought of that. Maybe hp nerf has it's advantages. I don't know how weird it would be to nerf fire and cold res. After all, heavy inf's armor also makes it worse against those damage types. Hp nerf would also weakens Lord against other opponents, not just mages, while res can focus on par...

Yes, making it 3 mp would obviously be a terrible idea, but i never suggested that. I only talked about movement cost, like Hejnewar said. Has anyone ever considered adding level 4s as enemies to the last scenario on Nightmare? An Armageddon Drake or an Elvish Sylph coming your way would be something to see and... quite epic, a worthy showdown. Like, one or two sides could send a level 4 instead of two level 3s or something like that.

Orcish Warrior/Warlord slowly surpasses the Troll line in terms of stats.
Goblin gold costs affecting campaigns... i'm not so sure about this. Dealing with one or two more squishy goblins can really be such an issue?

It would be hard to judge these changes specifically, but i definitely support the idea of some balance over level 2.
