I was looking at the HI animation ingame and I noticed it doesn't have the standard offsetting when attacking an enemy. As a result at most attacking angles the mace makes basically no connection with the enemy it is hitting. is this intentional?

Smoothened the animation an fixed the shield. Should be good to go? Subpixeling... so much subpixeling

While I was working on the attack animation for the HI I thought I would try a standing bob as well. It's not finished but It's a general idea. Thoughts?

Ok, I tried to put some more force into the hit. Looking at it before the arc was to controlled and slow, I've made it more like a swing with intention to hurt.

Hey, I haven't really worked on this again until today but I tried to fix the size issue. he still is shorter in the later half of the animation but that is due to the fact that his legs are bent. It's really messy but do the proportions look right now?

Progress. I'm not sure what to do but something about the feet seem off somehow. If anyone has any tips that would be great.

Yup, don't worry the updated sprite was part of the reason I decided on the HI

and yeah the intention was a underhanded swing. Since it's a big heavy mace I thought that would work well. If this is fine I'll start actually making it look like the HI then!

Hey I was thinking about maybe making a new heavy infantryman attack animation. I blocked one out today. Would this work to work forward with or should I change things about it. thanks!
