Re: [engine] Wesnoth Simultaneous Game mode
I have been informed that Wesnoth's engine was designed for sequential turns. Civs support Simultaneous Game modes though.

[engine] Wesnoth Simultaneous Game mode
Everyone makes their move and it all gets executed via a priority stack and the interface can be similar to planning mode. The planning phase can have a configurable timer to keep the game moving.

Jazza and Shadiversity just rolled out new version of rulebook. It is supposed to be a streamline and improvement over DnD.

Ability to build into more more factions doing a game?
Is there an era that allows you to build into another faction doing a game, similar to how Zero-K allows you build and use another factory assuming you have enough time and money to do it?

Re: Where in the Wesnoth timeline is their information age?
I like using divergent timelines. Playing with mechanics or modifying events would inadvertently create one anyways.

Where in the Wesnoth timeline is their information age?
The information age would be my ideal place to anchor crime fiction.

What is the Khalifate exactly?
Something is just bugging me. What is the Khalifate exactly? Is it an Islamic Khalifate? Is it a Tentacle of the Deep Khalifate? Is it my current working theory in which Drarves and Humans are the same Species and that the Khalifate is a future version of the Knalgan Alliance?

Re: Can't consistently win hamlets against AI
I could have to do with my play style or the Experimental AI's complete lack of fear, but I can't give up villages early in the game and expect to put up a good enough offense. Pretty much I can't win a theater unless I have at least an equal number of units in the area. If I retreat too early in th...

Re: Can't consistently win hamlets against AI
I noticed that I didn't upload Fail 0 yesterday and I uploaded win 0 twice instead. I just fixed it.

Can't consistently win hamlets against AI
I am playing against the Experimental AI on the Hamlets with me as Drakes and the AI as Northerners. I gave the AI a +9 gold handicap, but I can't beat them consistently. I have two winning and losing games uploaded so you can evaluate where I am sloppy.

Re: A brief update on faction Guides? (For 1.12.5 onward)
Thanks bro. Question: Currently I main undead (I feel like poison can REALLY intimidate in a lot of matchups, especially loyalists and knalgans). My question is: What is the best counter for woses when playing against rebels? Woses beat skeletons 1v1 even during the night. I've done a little testin...

Re: Repulsion
You know what I like more than repulsion. Just being out of the way. If your units are too far away to target, it is equivalent of having a terrain defense of 100%.

Why do I never randomly get Saurians as Leaders?
I have noticed that I never got Saurian Oracle or Saurian Soothsayer as a random Drake leader. I don't recall a time when I did. It kind of weird because they are selectable as leaders. I have been playing Wesnoth since version 1.8.

Re: Multiplayer Replay Analysis
Can someone psychoanalyze me based on my play style? I am thinking about getting on the latter, but I don't feel that I "know thyself" enough.

Re: Tips and Strategies about playing defensive
I could make the counter argument that the Drakes are much better at defense Yeah, well. If you define fleeing as defense. I for example love to play merkwuerdigliebe, where everything is so tight you can jump from own/allied castles to the enemies'. Every time the game deals me drakes I brace for ...
