Any code called by unsynced event is unsynced. No way to change it.

Best you can do is store the action until synced code wants to use it.

When using syncing based on global variables, your use case should be possible with WML - after each action current side asks if master wants to do something.

Interesting. Looks like it would support all normal cases. Technically I support selecting with stateful function too, but it is not what I use in practice. Added some changes to make it easier to use, and with different addons as well.

Now only one file has absolute paths, others use relative paths.

If wesnoth.game_config doesnt have campaign info then it should be added there.

With [lua][args] you can make use of preprocessing. Havent really used [args] though.

6-symbol hash like git reflog should be enough to determine which file should be used, leaving rest of filename for readable name.

Using hash has disadvantage of practically useless file names. Hash could be part of file name, but there should be readable part too.

You should not require each string ever only being allowed to be said by one speaker.
