Re: How to re-roll the second trait for loyal units?
just a guess: the state of the random number generator might be restored if you reload a game. if there are no actions that query random numbers before the unit is created (e.g. early on in the scenario) you might get the same traits. but since the creation of Loflar is triggered in a moveto event ...

Re: [Interface] When a Horseman becomes a Knight
In conclusion, ktchong, feel free to do it in your campaign or add-on, but I'm pretty sure that this is not going to happen in mainline. I already manually changed the names of my Sir Knights. Just a suggestion; thought it would be nifty and impressive if players (who pay attention to details) see ...

How to re-roll the second trait for loyal units? (Campaigns)
I am replaying Heir to the Throne at the same difficulty level (medium). I have just found out that, in the campaign, some of the same "loyal" units receive their second traits differently. In my previous game, Loflar had Loyal and Intelligent; this time he has Loyal and Quick. Two of my l...

[Interface] When a Horseman becomes a Knight
The game should automatically add the title "Sir" in front of the unit's name.

Re: Android port coming soon...
I have the Android version, and I am NOT happy with how it (a) charges money for an open-source game that is supposed to be free, and (b) has never receives any updates since it was released in September. What happened to the developer? Just so you know, the app descriptions at the Android Market cl...

Re: Scenario 4: Bay of Pearls
(1) Normal. (2) 1, very easy. 2, when I wanted to avoid losing any unit. (I already have a loyal Paladin at this point. I used the Paladin and a lot of fast-moving horse units to sweep through the villages and gained an early upperhand.) (3) Clear. (4) Clear, but not interesting. I wish the liberate...

Re: Suggestions for improving the game interface
This happens to be an ancient design choice that (to my knowledge, anyway, I admit this could be merely the opinion of this single old-timer) none of the developers feel needs to be changed as many of us like to be surprised, and people who really, absolutely must see a list of every single unit ty...

Re: Suggestions for improving the game interface
People playing like that and refusing to do otherwise will miss quite a lot either way and unless they start reading about the gameplay basics and the units’ various special attributes (such as traits, abilities and resistance/movement cost/defense stats) they will get frustrated and quit. Please d...

Re: Suggestions for improving the game interface
The explanation of upkeep and pretty much all common gameplay aspects can be found in the in-game Help, actually. While I’m all for user-interface intuitiveness, sometimes it’s necessary to keep things clean and tidy and avoid presenting redundant information, which would be the case should upkeep ...

Traits and Abilities
Units randomly receive two traits. When recruiting a new unit, a second dialog should allow players to select from a list of two or three units with different names, genders (when applicable) and traits. i.e., you get to select one from a pool of two or three potential recruits. I read that the Inte...

Re: Suggestions for improving the game interface
Added suggestions no. 4 and 5: 4. I would like the game (campaigns in particular) to register a unit's "strongest enemy killed" and show that information in its profile. This may involve some overhaul of how the game works every time a unit kill an enemy, but it is a simple change. You jus...

[interface] Suggestions for improving the game interface
Newbie here, has some suggestions to help improve the game's interface: 1. The "Unit List" menu item and "Recall" action dialog should show a unit's upkeep value. A unit's upkeep-per-turn is an important information that is not currently available anywhere in the game's interface...

Bug report: hero names mixed-up
If I choose Li'sar instead of Konrad as my character in the tutorial, the pop-up menu still says "It is now Konrad 's turn" at the beginning of every turn. I have both Windows and Android versions of the game. Both versions have the same problem. Both versions are the most current: 1.8.6 f...
