Re: iPhone/iPad Support Thread
Uhh. Tough luck. Unless you have a mac and can compile this whole thing yourself, I suggest you to jailbreak the device, install iFile's free version (insanely useful file manager/text editor/pdf viewer/image viewer), install installous (google it), and install one of the pre-built versions there (t...

Re: Ios content development| South Guard revisited
That's nice and clean, even it's logical and I think... Hell! I know that it works on a desktop linux... But what I have is the last Iphone version, and it doesn't work... Yet. Well, at least putting it in the game's main data/campaigns fails to show up, if put in userdir/data/campaigns, then it can...

Re: iPhone/iPad Support Thread
Oh crp. A few more questions: Can I make the cache files on a windows machine? And what about making an edited duplicate in the iphone's userdata/campaigns folder? What can be the problem if the progress bar stays at zero? I essentially copied the south guard folder to userdata/campaigns, added a &q...

Re: iPhone/iPad Support Thread
No keys, [censored] device design. It doesn't even realize that the campaigns in the userdata (applications/c08...theappcodeofthegame/documents/wesnoth1.6/data) exist until I try to launch a skirmish (ie launch a skirmish menu) I tried to make a dupe campaign then, named: the south guard_B in said u...

Ios content development| South Guard revisited
So. My iphone 4 has a file manager with an inbuilt text editor, AND, the 1.6 wesnoth (latest mobile) installed. So, I have decided to tailor the South Guard to my tastes. How can I have it show up in the game ( in case I make a separate campaign like: The South Guard B in the app's documents/data fo...

Anyway, he is technically a replacement heir: Trained and qualified to lead.
And, heritage by birth is bull.... Let's go make a republic

Re: The South Guard
One thing that really annoyed me: PEASANTS ARE WEAK!! Also to think that Moreth (awesome pikeman in easy, acceptable spearman in normal and wtf?! PEASANT? on hard) And changing Aleron from Longbowman to Peasant is also a bad idea I think. There are many other ways to add challenge (such as increasin...

So far so good. Add-ons folder works
still the topic title: unknown scenario: "1_Halthan" happens
<s>Rewriting scenario file from scratch.(delicious copypasta)</s> Rewrote it, nothing changed.

Re: WHAT TO DO if you can't beat a scenario in a campaign:
One very important thing in httt: Don't EVER go to muff malal: less exp and minus 2(+ dwarven doors bandit) loyal units. Of course less experience means slower finish of later scenarios-> less gold AND less versalite army in the end. The last some times I playes HttT, I always played with the "...

Re: Revising the HttT Text & Dialogue
About s9 Valley of Death: Moremirmu doesn't mind places with lots and lots of undead. In fact I can see him laughing with a glee at the prospect of cleansing such a foul place.
He could join you afterwards if he didn't in S5 isle, seeing you fight undead with all you have.
