Gui interface problem in last BFW iteration

Hi, I have some user interface visualization problems in the lobby with the last version of Wesnoth. The last version that I used before was the 1.14.5 I think, anyway with the previous version I din't had this problem. The problem is that when I connect ti the server an log in the lobby the screen ...

Level 2 units balancing in BFW 1.15

Its nice that they are trying to balance lv 2 units in this new release of the game, but I think theu should kinda follow some basic rules, for example I saw that they dropped the Trapper recruit cost from 27 to 21. Ok he is not the best lv 2 unit, but also not so bad to cost less than some lv 1 uni...

Re: Drakes on small 1v1 maps

I saw Drakes win often non small maps, they have some bnenefits compared to other factions, like many of them can fly, they also have the advantage to be dangerous at day AND night. By Plq: And the only unit that can reliably take villages is fragile augur. Clasher have a lot of Hp to hold towns, an...

Re: A Sylph description is a bit too much transcendental

I think uou saw too many movies like "The Blind Fury" I'm not aware of any blind general, the Sylph can fie just by flyinng and crashing on a tree or rock, anyway its a fantasy game, (Btw how do you explain Sylphs vision range ? Without coming up with some complicate theory.) so ok, but hat's only o...

Re: Idea: multiplayer 1vs1 maps with a center village

I too, made a custom map with that idea, sometime ago. I think Fallenstar Lake can often result in camping when 2 defensive players are involved, and one or more towns in the middle would spice things up in those situation where no player wants to attack, plus that map has plenty of space in the cen...

Re: A Sylph description is a bit too much transcendental

I agree. I mean. I like the description, sounds like that it was taken from a fantasy book, but for BFW I think something simpler would fit better. Some parts don't make much sense anyway, like "they loose the ability to see the physical world" how do they fight then ? How they coordinate various th...

Re: [solved / works as designed] Multiplayer refreshing delayed

Yeah, with no shroud all movements are clear.
But that takes away some tactical deep.
Seeing undone moves is useless in my opinion, it only shows that the players cganged his mind.

Re: [solved / works as designed] Multiplayer refreshing delayed

I know may what happened.

Check if "delay shroud updates" is uncheked, presd right mouse button anywhere to see if you inadvertently turned it on.

Re: older ones all gone?

Wow, today at some point there were over 250 Players online. Elvish_Hunter wrote : It was the only sensible way to enforce some sort of moderation; before this, the most that could be done was IP banning, which isn't really effective for a lot of reasons. Besides, if you want to use one of the alter...

Re: older ones all gone?

During this period I saw over 200 players online. You can still observe, I played colosseum and an RPG scenario just the other day. The only point that I agree upon with, is the fact that you have to register, that's an useless bother. P.S. What you mean with "when I was black" ? You passed a bad pe...

Yes, but let's not forget, that the unit that manages ti kill the Javlineer gets 16Xp that brings him near evolution, or even lvl up if it already had some Xp.

Re: When are Javelineers useful?

Yeah, I mean his base meele dammage is the same as a lv.1 spearman with the strong trait, he can not advance to lv.3, has little HP compared to the other advancements in his category and has only one type of attack (pierce dammage), so he can NOT choose to attack the enemy with the attack that he is...
