Re: What SP campaign would you like to be added on add-on SV
Hey guys, I have given my vote for saurians, because there is no lengthy, good campaign that would allow us to use their abilities to full potential. Second, and right behind the saurians, are the undead, however I would love to see certain things be done differently, rather like in doofus campaigns...

Re: Cities of the Frontier (aka sim-Wesnoth)
I absolutely agree with every suggestions to make this campaign bigger and more complex. Bigger maps, side quests, monster lairs, payable bandits (pay them gold to leave you alone), end game boss (all enemies attacking at once), upgradeable tent (I want my castle!), maybe even inventory and blacksmi...

Wesnoth graphic on ArmorGames? is it ok?
Hey guys,
Just went to armorgames and found this game:
http://armorgames.com/play/13474/my-pet-protector-3
it clearly uses a lot of BfW graphic... is it ok and legal?

to be honest, in my game eternal slave was killed by someone else.
I actually never noticed the problem with lack of fire

Re: The Desert Prince
First of all, thanks a lot for your detailed feedback no problem! Well, the era was 600kB until I drew the map of the island. So 1.4MB are really ONLY the map you see in the background of the intros and that map is of course needed for the campaign. I put it into the era because it somehow belongs ...

Re: 1.9/1.10 SP Campaign: Tales of the Setting Sun
can we have a medic for our rookie warriors? a healer, priest, shaman? :) I'd like to avoid healers, but I agree something needs to be done along those lines. Maybe make potions stronger, and make a weaker herb or plant or something that is easy to find in the "wilderness". What about the...

Re: The Desert Prince
ok, so downloading few kb campaign only to download nearly 2mb era to play that campaign put me off the first time. I suffered that for the next time, and here is my feedback. First, let me say this: I don't like very much playing "animals" or beasts in that case. I don't like pixel art fo...

Re: Cities of the Frontier (aka sim-Wesnoth)
Encampments would be for real units to garrison in, while 'ramparts' as we may call them I suppose, could be used to block off units, and can be used to represent fortification that are purpose-built for impassability. Wooden Ramparts & Stone Ramparts. Sounds good to me :) A good technique woul...

Re: 1.9/1.10 SP Campaign: Tales of the Setting Sun
Just finished Kaoston tavern. My observations: - rebel leader can kill my captains in a single turn if he is lucky :( - a unit using a sling should be able to use small light shield. I picked up a kite shield from rebel captain and discovered that my slinger can't have a buckler :) - a barrel at (8,...

Re: 1.9/1.10 SP Campaign: Tales of the Setting Sun
- if you end your turn next to a unit with speech lines, at the start of a next turn they talk to you again Odd, I hadn't noticed that. also, moving to two guards (so that your character stands next to two) triggers double, sometimes triple dialogue. mercenaries can't use any items from a shop (I w...

Re: Cities of the Frontier (aka sim-Wesnoth)
the problem with lack of any real walls is that enemy units often do not bother fighting with player units, but just go around them and burn the buildings. a unit like watchtower - even though it can really be just a wall to slow enemies down - would be very, very useful. also, we have no idea of si...

Re: Cities of the Frontier (aka sim-Wesnoth)
Evander, there is impassible terrain in the Spring when the rivers flood, but that is only for a season. The peasant workers can build encampments which work well as walls for the village. What kind of impassible terrain did you have in mind? a _ wall _ come to think of it, maybe it could be immobi...

Re: Cities of the Frontier (aka sim-Wesnoth)
I have finished this campaign recently. So, feedback on my part. Rating right now would be like 6,5/10, because many features appear to be missing. What I liked: + idea. it may be awesome campaign one day. + building and map What I disliked: - artifacts that cannot be removed and have negative effec...

Re: 1.9/1.10 SP Campaign: Tales of the Setting Sun
ok, I am leaving the city (2nd map) and here are my observations: - the guys who wants to join you repeats his dialogue when he meets your second leader - guards who let you pass (after the council) should just move to side rather then upstairs - if you end your turn next to a unit with speech lines...
