The colors give a good indication. But graphic visualisation is clearer. An option to sort terrains by defense or movement cost could also help to see quickly the best terrain type for a unit. I don't think that terrain hex would fit in the description because there is numerous version of each terra...

I just installed wesnoth few days ago on a computer with windows 7, specify the path to install UMC during installation IN the game directory. It works for the first download, but it seems to have forget it the next day and install UMCs in the weird userdata directory (users/appdata... ) after that....

I think ingame display is pretty clear, but maybe because i'm used to it...
Improvement could be done in a simple way by mixing movement and defense in one table. Plus, it will take less place in description, making it easier to read. Hum, it's already done ...

Just as the others traits, intelligent is most efficient with the right unit (low attack number, high XP requirement...) Strong and dextrous, if their values stay the same through advancement, are less efficient in proportion as the attack damage increase. Do'nt you think an intelligent horseman is ...

It looks great, but not much like a bike... Maybe the tires are not enough large. Some references that may help : Akira : Kaneda's bike I didn't find a good image of the bike in wonderful days, but maybe you could watch this movie for references... It take place in a closed universe much like yours....

Thanks, but as I said, it don't work, because I want to modify a unit for an MP era. It has to be in a unit_type tag

I also think Rebels are an easy starting faction... Almost every unit got melee and range attack with different type of damage. Their movement type is not to restrictive and they are neutrals... Each of this point make them easier to play with when you just discover wesnoth. Once the first learning ...

I just start reading the Game of Throne novel. So their genders are the same as their masters.

You can make it by slightly translating the mage back in all animation frames so it seem to stay at the same place. Or, maybe make it a ranged attack ?
