Re: Multiplayer Replay Analysis

Thank you.
I see a lot of things I can improve on and I really appreciate your analysis. The situation wasn't as hopeless as it seemed to me during the game.

Re: Multiplayer Replay Analysis

Hello, So i started playing ladder after the 2 year break and I'm losing my nerves already. I was playing Knaglan vs UD on Basilisk. My enemy didn't make a offensive move through the whole game, which ended in almost 2h of stalmate. Mass ghouls, bats, wc and some adepts. I understand I made some mis...

Re: [Mainline] Replace the 'Marksman' weapon special

I think its a nerf for marksman units. But, maybe better would be to add +10% chance to hit, no matter if unit is attacking or defending? What you think?

Re: Banking=evil?

I think that is one of wesnoth strategies as you said Crend. I see nothing wrong about it, thats why it makes me curious why banking may be seen non-fair?
It would be great if any pro/good player say what he thinks about it.

Banking=evil?

Hey Guys, I heard the opinion that banking(collecting gold with lower upkeep instead of recruitng units) is degrading, and its not a fair play to do it, and I ve seen some top tier players games where they seems to complain that their opponent was banking. What do you think about it? Is it one of We...

Re: Reloading games in Multiplayer

Anyway, ladder is not an official part of Wesnoth, so disabling autosaving during ladder games would be an honor system solution, which is no better than what exists now. And it would cause problems during disconnects, etc. Thats why i put question mark at the end of my sentence. I have no idea wha...

Re: Reloading games in Multiplayer

There is a solution: message in chat log when someone saves a game.
f.e: <Practice has saved a game>

And maybe turning off auto-save during ladder games?

Re: Don't you think it's strange that the Elvish Fighter has

UHM because they already cost the same as spearmen and yet have a more powerful range AND melee attack AND defenses? Why don't we give them more hitpoints than the spearman while we're at it? Next you'll be saying they should nerf the bat again! Oh wait they already did that. Poacher doesnt need an...

Re: Don't you think it's strange that the Elvish Fighter has

@OP: I always interpreted: -the movement points as the capability of walking restlessly; -the movement cost as the rapidity to walk in various terrains. Ok, what about poachers, trappers and huntsmans? Part of huntsman description: "Master hunters are employed by any group living in or passing thro...

Re: Ghost buff

SP balance and MP balance is a whole diffrent thing. If we want to talk about SP ghost balance we should debate about specific scenario instead of unit. But i think there are other topics to talk about it.

Re: Ghost buff

Hi and sorry for my english, this is my first post on the forum. I rarely see a levelled up horseman. Does that mean something? Not really. 'I LOST 24g! THIS UNIT IS CURSED! CHANGE ITS RNG!' Huh, I often see that a horseman(23g) is the first unit to level up in loyalist army. Probably because he is ...
