Is there an old art Database?
Hey Guys, I haven't played this game since 2012 or so, but in a moment of nostalgia I redownloaded. I see a ton of new stuff is available, as well as tons of reworks of sprites, portraits and story images. Just curious, mostly for nostalgia's sake and maybe for modding, is there like a database wher...

Re: A poem about elves
Yeah, that last bit does stretch the meter a bit. How about this: "Oh Haldric, your treaties proved fragile as glass, Your words soon forgotten like wind on the grass, Therefore no elf bows will sing at your wars, Nor swords will we send, when siege comes to your doors." That version cuts ...

Re: A poem about elves
Wow. You're good, folk. Thanks! Very nice. "The beacons are burning, our riders have called," Reminds me of LoTR abit. Yeah, at first I was a little unsure about adding that line in, since I'm not sure if elves would burn beacons, since they love trees and stuff, but I thought it sounded ...

A poem about elves
Hello everyone! A few weeks ago, I was inspired by the poem 'The Breaking of the Pact' to write a poem about the elves. At first, I wrote the hero down as Kalenz, but then after examining the timeline, I realized that Kalenz appeared after Haldric the First had died. So, I just changed the hero's na...

Grandfather jazz? The name is so strange I am tempted to hear some...well, maybe not. I can't imagine grandads and jazz in the same music.

Re: What action you guys take when your memories don't work
You should see an expert in the field. He lives far to the east, atop a great mountain, in a temple of stone and glass; it will take 3 weeks to reach him in his domain of wondrous knowledge, as he is a great sage who will have none of the annoyance of the common folk to trouble him in his abode. Ax...

lights. The creature was tall, perhaps even as tall as the elves; its body is slim, but muscular; its skin pale, covered in black robe; its hands large, with clawed long fingers; its head large, completely bald; its eyes... Where the eyes should have been, there were two raised skin patches with co...

Re: Historical Inaccuracy: Crossbows
So another indication that "(all) Orcs are stupid beasts who cannot make weapons themselves!" is propaganda! (Besides being the only faction having burning arrows and poisoned weapons -that even are quite accurate-, and all of it in normal recruits) Tolkien says goblins were good at minin...

Aye. IMO, saurians can outflank and outrun dwarves, so despite their weak attacks, you can use them to quickly cut off and destroy wanton thunderers that engage you big slow drakes.

I suppose we'll role without UndeadRussian...The show must go on! "When does it finally start", I think while I wait for the beginning. Tarbyth: (warning, wall 'o script inbound!) Finally, everyone files into their seats. Probably an hour later, everything is ready... You notice that three...

Re: LordBob's commissionned work
[...] I expect the ogres to have more body hair, somehow without a slight coat of long hair they seem a little like big fat guys and not monsters. After all, they do live up north, and feel that they need just a tiny bit more distinction between a bit fat human and an ogre. Everything living in the...
